IF I COULD GIVE 100 stars I would. these containers are secure and well made. I have ordered in two sizes multiple times as I have set up my quilt/sewing room. I had one problem with a missing handle on one container from my fifth order.. and IRIS customer service was VERY responsive, sending a replacement quickly. In my sewing room these containers are used to shelve fat quarters by color on shelves. the latches are secure but not so much that humidity affects the fabric, which I appreciate. I can easily pull down one container from the shelves and they are not too heavy. The containers arrived in excellent condition, no breakage or damage... and quite versatile as storage options. the containers are a milky color... diffusing sunlight so my fabric is not exposed to the light yet easily viewable for color references. The IRIS containers are mad in the USA... a bonus I didn't even factor into my original purchase but discovered when I had to contact the customer service people. HIGHLY recommend... an investment well worth the cost, they would be suitable for craft project storage too. ... show more

TL;DR: These 6 Qt. IRIS bins are the perfect low-profile storage solution for diamond art storage. If you use small, rectangular flip-top containers for your drills, they fit in these bins perfectly. They are clear, stable when stacked, and the latches feel secure. Perfect Fit for Diamond Art Drill Containers: I purchased these IRIS bins specifically to organize my diamond painting supplies, and I am extremely happy with how they fit. As shown in my photos, I can fit 3 rows of 12 containers, plus 3 more turned sideways at the end of the rows. This keeps dozens of different colors neatly organized and easily accessible by just lifting the lid. Visibility and Stacking: The plastic is sufficiently clear that I can see exactly what is in each bin without opening it. This saves me time when looking for specific color drills. I also really appreciate the design of the lids. They have an indent that allows them to stack very securely. They feel very stable when stacked together in a cubby, and they don’t slide around. The shallow depth is also perfect for slipping these onto a bookshelf or into a cube organizer. Latch and Build Quality: The teal latches snap closed firmly, giving me confidence that if a bin tips over, the lid won't fly open and spill hundreds of tiny drills. I bought theese containers for my 5y old to store/mix all his Legos together. I use to have them very organized and separated by color in a different organized box and he would just mix them all up. It was driving me crazy. My husband finally said he doesn't want them all neat he wants them all mixed up. So I found theese containers and they work perfect for holding all his Legos. I hate seeing them all mixed up like that because theese legos actually go to sets that u build not just random legos. My husband and son love them so I guess I have to get use to them being all mixed up. I love that the set came with 4 containers. I used the 4th one for my son's play kitchen food. I love that theese containers are see through. This fits perfectly right under his play kitchen sink. I really appreciate the side locks. Seems to lock nicely as well for what we are using it for. My son keeps theese bins under his bed. We also have a carrying strap just in case he wants to carry them around and not worry about them busting open. I'm very happy with my purchase and I think the price is a good deal for 4 of theese bin containers. I love the size and I think it's deep enough as well. I'd definitely buy them again if I needed too. Only thing I didn't like was it wasn't packaged nicely at all. Just thrown into a cardboard box. No wrapping around them or anything. I really like the size, and they seem sturdy and arrived without damage. The only thing I don’t like is they have little “feet”, which makes it difficult to slide on and off from each other when they’re stacked. You have to lift the edge up and pull out, which can be annoying if they’re on a high shelf. Sliding back in is the same thing in reverse - it requires finagling placement in order to get them stacked properly again. For that reason, I personally wouldn’t order them again, but would recommend them otherwise. ... show more

Purchased these 6 qt containers to create individual sensory bins for my daycare children. The plastic is sturdy, stackable and exactly what I was looking for. The material is heavy enough for my purpose and is able to withstand heavier items on top of other bins without crushing the top. The locking buckle latch handles on the lids are firm, but not too hard to remove. The ability to stack them makes it easier to store in a smaller area. The size is perfect for one (or 2) children to play with and the depth is just high enough to allow scooping the rice, oats and pompons I've chosen for sensory play without accidentally dumping out the contents. I love that they are clear enough to make out the contents; but not completely see through. Although i was looking to use these bins for a specific purpose; I would purchase them again to organize office or kitchen items as well. ... show more

As with everything else in my life, these will be PERFECT for organizing when I get time! At least I shouldn't lose them like I did a few notebooks on organization, etc.! They are small, very sturdy, a tight latch (and after a sickening long distance home sale and move, I should be an expert on CONTAINERS .... and dealing with a loopy buyer's agent .... ) .... but back to the containers, they are EXACTLY what I wanted, and I have hundreds from small to huge on wheels. ... show more
