Hands down my most favorite pair of earbuds i have ever owned. They fit great are very confortable andhalf the time i forget that they are even there in my ears lol. The sound is great have a good range of volume the sound is clear no matter if your talking on a call or listening to music. I fly alot for work and these are great. They stay in my ears when im running on the tread mill exersicing which is awesome so they git my gold start for use while working out. they case is so light its not uncomfortable in yoyr pocket. My only complaint - the case feels cheap, but I like how flat it is. The pluses: love the purple color. It's not flashy, but it's cute and fun. These are far easier to put on than I thought. I like that you can do them one handed. I'm a long time (after)shokz user and always needed to use both hands for those. I knew that this company spent a lot of time and money prioritizing sound quality without a tight fit on the head. I often get headaches from hats and headband, so this is a major plus for me! These were my sole prime day purchase, and I loved getting them at a deal. I kept talking myself out of them at full price though, as I also have my bone conduction headphones and galaxy buds 3 Pro. Sound quality wise these are closer to the Galaxy buds 3 Pro honestly, the one drawback being that someone next to me can hear what I'm listening to if I turn it up, so these might not be as good for riding on an airplane for instance. These were so easy to connect to my phone even without the Shokz app, but loading their app helps you personalize the button controls. Battery life has been fantastic. I've been using these maybe an hour a day since I got them and when I checked the battery level just now it was still 100%, meaning that the charge in the case is still recharging the headphones without being plugged back into the wall. I'm not a power user by any means, but it's nice to know that I'll only have to charge the case maybe once every other week or so. All in all, did I need them? No. Am I glad I got them? Sound - These open-ear headphones have AMAZING sound quality! I read positive reviews of the sound but was skeptical - thought it should be pretty good, but when they connected the first time, WOW. Like I was in the room with the musicians. (I was used to some inexpensive, in-ear earbuds that had tinny sound.) Not these. I'm surprised how I can hear the audio but still hear what's going on in the room or conversation. These are fantastic! They allow you to hear your surroundings while being submerged in your music, podcast, or phone call. They are incredibly comfortable. I forget I am wearing them all the time. I wear glasses and they work great with my glasses even though they rest over the ear. Battery life is incredible. I wear them all day and have never had to plug them in to charge in the middle of the day. I am in sales and talk a lot on the phone and the party on the other side of the phone has never complained about background noise or static. I also stay active by trail riding mountain bikes, running, working on the property and working out in the gym I also live in a very hot and humid area and they are solidly constructed. When I am in the gym, I leave my phone in a corner of the gym as I am migrating between stations and have never lost connectivity to my phone. I walk to the opposite end of my house before the "beep" happens that lets me know I am no longer connected to my computer. I also love the multiple devices connected feature. I have mine connected to my phone and PC and can take Zoom or Teams calls and then switch to a phone call seamlessly. I like them so much, I purchased a pair for my wife. She rarely wore headphones before these and now she puts them on in the morning and doesn't remove them until late evening. Highly recommend! ... show more

So this is going to sound a bit "extra" but I have three sets of headphones. Technics AZ-100s, Beats Powerbeats Pro 2 and now the Shokz OpenFit 2+. The Technics are for travel with good ANC and excellent sound, and the Beats are for the gym with decent ANC and unbeatable staying power (on the ear). So what are the Shokz for? Good question - I could have settled with them instead of the Beats, but I think I will use them mostly for times at home where I want to listen to something on my laptop, iPad or Pixel phone but I don't want to separate from the world. The comfort is obviously there, the mic and the sound are very good - but not close to the Technics. PROS: Long battery life, IPX55 water and dust resistance rating, super light and comfortable, great for people who don't want something stuck in their ear holes, stable on the ear, sound is surprising good for open earphones, multipoint pairing works well, app is very good. Cost is good during the current 30% sale. CONS: Durability to be determined, I wish they hugged into my ears just another mm or 2 more (which makes a big difference in terms of volume), while the app is good, the EQ is pretty lame with only 5 frequency bins, the new Shokz OpenFit Pro has (slightly?) better sound and a bit more noise reduction. Also a weird con is that I use a swipe up on my Pixel to dismiss screens, and the volume control in the app is on the bottom of the screen where I normally swipe - this sometimes sends the volume to max and is a shock to me ears. These are lightweight and extremely comfortable.i wear one all day long and forget im wearing it all the time because it's so comfortable. Love the physical button works really well even with gloves I wear at work im a delivery driver and they are great for phone calls you dont have to shout or talk loud to have clear conversation. They have great sound for music good deep sound quality even my tv shows sound good. They are little pricy but they are excellent ear buds for all day use.these are my second pair lost one to my first set I've had for 6 months and the battery life is still excellent lasts all day in the one earbud I still have. The one I lost got knock off my ear when I was working didn't even realize it was gone there so comfortable.i recommend these 4.5 stars even bought my nephew pair of the opendots he loves them ... show more

I've been through countless sets of earbuds both cheap and high end and these are amongst the best I've ever had. To be honest, just physically, earbuds that go directly into your ear like most of the high end earbuds are the best way to get audiophile level sound. However, there is something to be said for comfort and a form factor that wont fall out of your ear when you are moving around and going through your daily life. This is where the Shokz shine. They are so comfortable that I forget I have them on. They never fall off and they don't make my ears feel like I've shoved a twig into them. Many earbuds have this quality, but what sets the Shokz apart is their superior soundstage. It feels like your in a room with a live band playing. You can still hear the world around you but the music permeates the space. If you like heavy bass, these may not do it for you, but these make almost every other kind of music sound great. These are the best headphones I've ever owned. I don't know if there's something unusual about the shape of my ears, but traditional earbud-style headphones just do not work for me. I either need to buy the ones that come with earhooks on them already, or I have to buy aftermarket plastic earhooks to snap on to them. Even with those hooks, however, they tend to fall off my ears, especially the in-ear style of buds; I feel bad for whoever's on the other end of whatever call I happen to be on when that happens because all they can hear is me swearing up a storm as I try to find them on the floor where they've fallen. You would be forgiven for thinking that I should maybe switch to more traditional over-the-head headphones with the ear cans instead, or maybe something like the aftershokz bone-conduction headphone, but while I do believe that would bump up the quality of the audio, unfortunately due to an underlying disability I am unable to put such devices on my head. If by some miracle I do get them on, they almost immediately slide right off and I can't fix them easily. So what does an audiophile like myself have left for an on-the-go daily driver? I'm not going to pretend that the quality of the sound these headphones produce is on par with the best headphones available today, but it is leagues above what I have experienced with other Bluetooth headsets. They're also extremely comfortable, the soft silicone pleasing to the touch, and the design is so well-balanced that so far these have not fallen off my head even when I jam out. I have been told that I am consistently intelligible on calls again. And a feature that is extremely exciting to me is the fact that (unlike my last Bluetooth headset) when connected to two different devices, the OpenFit 2+ is smart enough to know that while I might need to know that my phone has a notification, that doesn't mean it needs to completely stop whatever video I've got playing on my laptop to alert me. I'm sure that's normal on other similarly priced devices, but I'm a person who used to buy their headphones at Rite Aid, so this is pretty cool technology to me. The price point is a little spendy compared to what I usually spend on headphones (remember I used to shop for them at Rite Aid) but I definitely think they're 100% worth it.
