The knives are very nice looking although I've only used one of my 3 knives, one time. I sliced a tomato and it was very easy. I'm looking forward to seeing how strong they are and how long they last. They would make a nice gift and they come in a sturdy box with a custom plastic cover for each knife. Lastly, they are more economical than the more well known ceramic knife which, BTW, snapped while cutting a turnip.

The knives are very sharp and can cut very thin slices of tomatoes, onions, etc. Use these knives carefully since they are sharp. The lifetime guarantee is great. I gave my daughter a gift of these knives and a piece broke off near the handle. I contacted Vos and gave them the Amazon order number and they "quickly" sent my daughter a new set of knives that I previously ordered for her.

Immediate reaction ... knife block (if you can call it that) is unbalanced, super cheap plastic. Haven't used knives yet, but the block was a selling point for me. I appreciated the card with the warranty information however. Hopefully I won't need it.

I've never had ceramic knives before. Always had steel. I have used these quite a bit since I got them and I'm telling you it's a huge difference in effort. We'll see how long the original cut lasts. Only had em a couple months but I'm impressed.
