Purchased these 8 inch ties based on the stellar reviews. I did NOT have the same results that many others did. Delivery was okay. Packaging is nice. For my needs, the product is worthless and a waste of time and resources. I used these zip ties today to connect lightweight folding fence sections together. I have used these little wire border fences all over my yard and garden for years to keep dogs out. I've used zip ties for so many, many things, for so many years around my house and yard, and have never had results like this. Five snapped as I was putting them on the fence pieces. Several more snapped after I applied them to the sections and put the fence pieces in the flower bed. Four more snapped tonight when I had to move a couple sections to another place in the yard. I can't have the little plastic sections snap off like that and end up on the ground and me not see it, as one of my dogs finds anything like this and eats it. That would surely be bad trouble for a gut. Perhaps my use is beyond the capabilities of these ties. But, I've never had a problem like this before, ever. A lot of the zip ties currently in use in my yard are years old and still doing well. These did not work for me. I can't recommend them and I'll have to find something else.

My daughter’s birthday was coming up so I wanted to make our backyard fabulous! We strung up some metal cable and then zip tied the string lights to it. We also used the zip ties to hang up the party decorations. These are really strong and I like the black color. It blends well with the lights. The variety of sizes allowed me to use them for different sized decor. I would recommend these to anyone seeking strong cable ties.

Hello amazon customers, You've come to the right review. I would like you all to know that these are not zip ties. No no, in fact they are about the size of a rubber band. It's like a toothpick and a zip tie had a baby and made a pointless tiny piece of plastic. I mean this is just a waste of time to even create. Why is this even on earth? Like why is this even a thing? Who decided- "you know what company we should invest all of our time, money, blood, sweat, and tears in? I miniature zip tie company in which the tie does not work at all, and then we will sell them online as "zip ties'...we shall be rich" Anyway dont bother.

With all the good reviews on these ties I would assume they would be of good quality, but nope. They are the WORST zip ties I have ever purchased. I have tried to use them on several occasions and almost every time they snap. It doesn't take much force to snap them, either. Sometimes they snap even before I begin tightening them. I have tried to be careful when using them, but the whole point of a zip tie is to snug it up and hold something in a firm grip. I will NEVER buy these again. They are completely worthless.

While I do use these to organize electric cords around the house, my main reason for this purchase was to save my Christmas tree. Year after year, my cats have used the bottom branches as a bed. The branches have bent, but were always able to be bent back. This year, though, it was no longer working. I purchased a bag of 12” ties along with these. I am able to tie the bottom row of branches to the row above, and those to the row above them... Previous years, I have woken up each morning to repair the branches that were bent overnight. For the first time since getting the tree, I am not having that problem. I also use them to secure the strings of lights in the tree. I will be using them to do the same for my outdoor lights, too. Best thing about this purchase is that I get twice the amount of ties for half the price compared to the ones at my local store. (One thing I want to add for anyone who reads this and decides to use zip ties for the same tree support method because of cats... please be sure to use an extra tie to make sure the cats won’t get caught in any of the loops!)
