I love E.L.F. brand makeup. So when I saw this mascara for only $3 I decided to get it since I was out of my other mascara and because $3 mascara is a deal! Well it's nice that the brush isn't silicone....I hate the silicone brushes that are becoming more popular these days, so to see an old school, swirled bristle brush was fantastic. It is a nice black and goes on well. That being said, IT IS NOT PLUMPING or VOLUMIZING AT ALL! That's kind of what I look for in mascara because I have nice long eyelashes but there are not as many as I wish there were. So when this came to my door I was so excited. I used it immediately and my joy turned to disbelief and sadness when instead of plumping and volumizing, it made each eyelash barker and more pronounced. So you could see every lash separate from the others.....Such a disappointment. Maybe for an upscale date or something that you want a more conservative look for this would work but for those of you who want a mascara you can wear daily that makes it look like you have fakes on, this will not help you. ... show more

I love love love it sm. i recommend applying in thin layers if you have longer lashes because my first time applying was a hot mess. my lashes clumped and stuck together because i didnt apply it in layers. i tried again another day and it looked beautiful and voluptuous. im so happy i finally found a decent mascara. it was super easy to take off as well, i recommend using warm water for removal. <3 ... show more
