I was looking for a way to replace a Windows 10 computer that had suffered a major hardware failure when I ran across this computer on Amazon's website. It was less expensive than buying the parts and doing my own assembly. Setting it up was time consuming (even though I didn't have to spend time building it) but it works better than I had ever hoped it would. Boot time is fantastically short. unlike my old computer I can actually be productive in a minute or two, rather than the 10-15 minutes my old computer took. There was no optical drive in this unit although the picture of the pc on line does show one installed. I had to take the pc to my computer guy and spend another $80 to have an optical drive installed. The product information doesn't mention an optical drive so I guess I had better read all the fine print from now on. The unit does work fine although Windows 11 does have some quirks over Windows 10. Nothing I can't overcome. I bought this to replace an aging Dell that wouldn't upgrade to Win11. Even if it could, it wouldn't be fast enough as it was already slow on Win 10 - especially when performing updates. This product has several issues. First it has some sort of power startup problems. Every time I boot this computer up I worry it’s going to not boot up. The screens flicker and it takes a long time to boot up. Much longer than the computer I’m replacing, which is the same computer except not a refurbished unit. It should perform the same, but this one is much slower. Secondly, it is very noisy when it starts acting oddly the fan starts getting very loud and the whole machine starts getting very loud. And on occasion, as I was going through set up, the screens would flicker because of some sort of power fluctuation. Third it was not completely refurbished. The system image or BIOS splash was never wiped and the initial screen that comes up is from the Qatar’s government or education system and it remains after initial setup so it was never completely wiped. I’m glad it had a 90 day return policy because I bought it in August and simply hadn’t installed it because the last one was working well I just needed a computer with more storage space. But I am returning this product. I just don’t trust it and it clearly is not working correctly. ... show more

The last three home office computers I’ve bought have been refurbished Dell’s. They are a great bang for your buck and each have lasted 3-4 years. None of them were retired due to failure, they were replaced to get new OS and faster, more capable hardware. The case does show signs of wear with a few dings, but once plugged in, it sets up like a brand new machine. In 3-4 years, I will be looking for another refurbished Dell. Great product at a good price. Thought it had HDMI ports, but they were Display Adapters ports - had to get a display to HDMI adapter to connect to my monitor. Other than that, extremely happy with the purchase. I would highly recommend.

Update: The wifi adapter it came with kept disconnecting and my downloads wouldn't finish. So I got a new one here and it fixed the issue. It was cheap. Otherwise, pc still running with no issues. Just received it today. Set up was quick and easy. Keyboard and accessories are cheap, but they work. My old wifi adapter didn't work with this, but the one they provided, along with the Bluetooth work great. Pc is fast. Win 11, all specs check out. Inside was clean. Only issue so far is a tiny screw that was loose inside the she'll. I sat it aside until I figure out where it goes. I still have to test how it handles my vsts and plugins for music. I don't doubt it can handle those. Will update if any issues arise. Better than my laptop I was using. ... show more
