    • Nice features, reasonably priced, good looking unit with minimal assembly
I searched very diligently to find cordless, that is to say, battery powered power snow shovel/snow blower that met two criteria: 1 economical price and 2 blow the snow to either side of the unit and not just straight ahead into my path of travel. This one was the only product that met both those requirements. You might be asking why I gave it only a four star rating instead of a 5 star rating? It's because the only snowfall that I had to evaluate the performance of the Voltask cordless snow shovel was a light snow so I was unable to give it a fair evaluation. I then proceeded to write a less than stellar review. However, Voltask customer service has been so excellent that I am going to rate the product four stars on the strength of the customer service experience and give the unit a chance to really demonstrate what it can do. Who knows, after the next decent snow fall I could upgrade the rating to a whopping five stars. We'll see! Should YOU purchase one?? I say give it a try. Not much power with this one but it's better than nothing. The parts arrived loose in the box and the assembly instructions are vague (to me anyway). I could find no way to attach the orange knobs as shown and received no response from the company when I emailed for clarification. =========== *Update to reflect that the company did contact me and resolved the issue with the orange knobs. A partial refund was given for the inconvenience of having to purchase knobs from another source. ... show more

    • Strong little machine ...
It a good machine for stairs and porch area .. it does the trick . NOT recommended for heavy snow but 3 inches or once u learn how to maneuver it will get the job done. AND THE BATTERY CAME WITH ORDER ALONG WITH CHARGER which was plus for me. When some machines come with no batteries. Outstanding customer service will purchase future products! ... show more

    • Surprised at how well it works
All hardware was proper and with the device. Assembly took just a few minutes - and the first thing I did was to get the battery & charger unpacked and the battery charging. The first use was after we had a layer of sleet followed by freezing rain and then topped by a couple of inches of snow. Of course it didn’t touch the ice, but it made short work of the snow. The directional vanes on the discharge chute work better than I expected and they were the reason I bought this brand/model; none of the other brands have it. It did approximately 75’ of 4’ wide sidewalk and still showed half of the battery life left. Much easier than shoveling - decent piece of equipment so far. ... show more

    • A little hand fitting required
There was a little hand fitting, about 3 minutes of work. The problem seemed to be paint over spry in the holes where the bolt goes. Once that was done, assembly was a breeze. The snow shovel worked just fine.
