Goggles have great clarity in any light. That’s about where the good stuff ends. Switchable lenses are cool, but makes them heavy. Not sure why everyone loves these. Returned these because they are just too small on my face, with an oddly super-rounded shape. Says medium fit, but they seem small. Also, field of view seems less than my Uvex - lots of foam inside and just didn’t seem like a wide range of view. Finally, lenses seem really fragile - they arrived with a tiny chip off the bottom. Seems like that shouldn’t happen to a pair sold as new still wrapped up in the box. Could be great, just not great for such a high price. ... show more

    • Cannot Change the Lenses on the Chairlift!
The lenses are very clear! The silver is not as white looking as the picture. The orange is faded in shade, more like Tennessee Vols than Clemson Tigers. The lenses pull into place via magnets but must be taken off to operate a lever that locks them in. Seems like Smith missed the point of the magnet. Therefore, you cannot easily swap out on the lift. They proved a lens bag but I wish it was a pouch with some padding. A really cool Idea would be a magnetized lens cover for lodge scratch protection. ... show more

    • Great anti-fog
I bought these for the anti fog aspect. Good news, these rarely fog and that is saying something because I perspire heavily snowboarding and it's been very difficult to find goggles that can hang in the backcountry. These definitely can and look super sharp doing it. The bad, when hitting fast speeds (30+ mph) the airflow inside the goggles is too intense and will cause watery eyes. Its unfortunate but a trade off I will gladly make to prevent fogging. Would recommend for those peeps that seem to always have foggy gogs ... show more

The lenses are great, easy to change out and providing good contrast. The field of view could be a little better, but I never found it limiting. They're comfortable and when paired with a Smith helmet do not fog at all, due to the flow-through ventilation scheme. I can't comment on fogging when wearing a different brand helmet. ... show more

Smiths pulls off an impressive giggle here. I use these for backcountry touring and getting into the resorts. The lens switch out is easy enough and essentially gives you two goggles at once. I had an extra hard shell goggle case, wish these would have come with a hard case.

Replaced my older version of these goggles that had different and more clunky clip-in when changing out the lenses. The new magnite version is simply great. So easy to pop out and in which keeps fingerprinting way down like the last one where you were bending the frames to try to jam in the lenses to the clips. Lense quality is top notch as you would expect from Smith goggles. And if you have a Smith helmet the fit is seamless with the frame of the helmet. ... show more

These are rated the best. Certainly most expensive, but I can find no issues with them. They are perfectly clear, very comfortable, and enhance snow conditions wonderfully. You may find goggles as good, but not better.
