Better than manual shoveling.
Picked this up during the summer to clear my driveway. We don't get a lot of snow in our area, so I wasn't looking for anything too powerful. Received about 8 inches of snow over the weekend though, so I got to try it out. Works well. Cleared half the driveway (approx 9'x30') in about 20 minutes. Worked well with the snow. Was harder when I hit the ice below the snow. The blade is plastic not metal. Much quicker and easier than it would have been with a shovel regardless. Used it over the grass in the back yard to clear an area for our Weiner dog to do his business without being belly or even shoulder deep in the snow. Tried not to actually get it into the dirt, just over the top of the grass. easy to assemble and not too loud. Only had two issues. The batteries can apparently get too cold and will stop working. mine quit just before I was finished. Instructions say charging for about 10 min will correct the issue. I charged overnight so I can't comment. Should probably clean it after use. Snow on mine refroze and I had to use a blowdryer to free up the discharge shoots to adjust the direction of discharge. Overall, very pleased with the device. Worth what I paid for it. Definitely better than shoveling.

Lasts 20 minutes
Works for the light fluffy snow, went to buy an extra battery because it only runs for 20 minutes and now they don’t have extra battery’s available and they don’t have universal ones for this product that you can buy in stores. Your better off buying a name brand one from Home Depot so you don’t have to worry about not being able to find a piece to this equipment

Gen Xr's dream item!
I'm 48 and my husband is 51. Our extended warranties expired years ago. I have neck, back, and shoulder injuries, but is nothing compared to my husband's body pains/injuries. I bought this for us to try to see if we could clear the snow and still stand upright afterwards. Well, we got about 5 inches yesterday, so I got the chance to test it today. The snow was heavy due to some melting this afternoon. But I honestly felt like this wasn't much more strenuous than vacuuming the carpets. With a little extra effort, I could even scoop out the gutter at the bottom of my driveway, which was full of what the plows left. I guess you truly know you're the adultier adult when you literally strip off the layers (I wish I'd had some Wonder Bread bags in my boots. IYKYK), and sat down to review this shovel. It really is that good! Oh, and the battery was almost fully charged when it was delivered. I topped it off to full in about 15 minutes, and it worked at full strength the whole time. The sidewalk and driveway took all of 30 minutes. Seriously folks, this is absolutely fantastic.

Definitely worth your money
I live in New Hampshire and I have to say I am impressed with this. It has worked very well. I love the fact that you can turn the directional on where the snow blows. That makes a huge difference. Lightweight and. Battery lasts long enough. And I've used this on some heavy snow. Don't have anywhere to store a snowblower. And this is the next best thing

everyone that gets snow, needs this snow "shovel" works like a dream, clears up to 6 inches of snow (and yes, I am aware that it will not handle a blizzard) but for those with back issues, or just want to clear the sidewalk/driveway on their own schedule this snow shovel is PERFECT
