So I think this is perfect for kids and adults. It has the exact same memory and computing power as another tablet for adults. There are kid specific settings but you can leave those off so it just functions like a normal tablet. But since it has the kid settings you can also share it with your children with fewer worries. The child settings are actually pretty universally helpful. You can set reminders for how long you have been playing and timers for bedtime. You can reduce distractions by turning off interruptions or notifications for a time and disable certain apps for a set time. Pretty much all the kid settings can come in handy for adults. Especially adults that may struggle with distractions or procrastination. The case is removable. I thought I wouldn't like the case but it is actually extremely practical. It isn't just cushiony and protective but it also is a stand. The handle makes it really easy to hold on to. My husband tested the hardiness by flipping it around pretty enthusiastically and it passed his test. He has been using it with the kid case on it all morning. Setup was the easiest it has ever been. The first option for setup is to plug your new tablet into your old tablet. If you don't have a compatible cable there are other options but I definitely recommend it. It plays games well. There have been zero issues so far. There is a slot to add a memory card for more storage which is always nice. But it comes with plenty of memory for our needs. The battery is doing very well. It was draining fast when I was setting it up because I had it plugged in to the old tablet. The old tablet was trying to charge off the new tablet while it was transferring the info. I was worried that would stress the battery on the new tablet but it seems fine. The battery is lasting a long time even while playing games. This is a definite win. It absolutely deserves five stars. If you are an adult that is hard on electronics, I recommend this case designed for kids. Now the only thing I need to get is a screen protector.

This is a generic import and it's not going to be as good as an Amazon Fire, or a name brand Android. If you don't need the Google Play Store, consider looking into an Amazon tablet. We've tried Fire tablets, and love them, but all of our favorite apps are on the Google Play Store. My favorite tablets are by Samsung, but they're significantly more expensive than this. So if you're like me and looking for a budget Android tablet, this is pretty good. Just make sure to adjust your expectations. Here are the specs, which for some reason aren't included in the product detail page: DISPLAY AND SCREEN The display is 1280 x 800, which should be adequate for most people. The screen is 10 point multi-touch. It's pretty bright, I can see it outside in the sun without too much trouble. Colors and resolution not vibrant like Samsung, but still decent. When watching videos, it will frequently glitch out, with static and pixelation. This is probably due to the mediocre processor and/or the slow wi-fi card, and less to do with the screen. It's not a huge issue for me, though. MEMORY AND STORAGE: It has 64 GB with 54.26 free gigabytes available. The RAM is 4 GB, which is adequate for basic tasks but not great. CAMERAS The front camera is 2 MP, and the rear camera is 5 MP. The rear has a flash, the front does not. Ugh, the cameras are not great. You can do a zoom with this, but it will look pretty low res. The photos and videos are pretty awful. The rendering is bad, and the photos are grainy. BATTERY: The battery is 4,000mAh, which is nothing fancy, but is adequate. It lasts me all day on a single charge with casual use. SENSORS: This is pretty basic, there is only one sensor - an accelerometer. It has no gyroscope, no vibration, etc. WIFI: This is a pretty slow wi-fi card. It claims it supports speeds up to 150 Mbs, however, in real life I only get about 39 Mbs, which is not great. OPERATING SYTEM: It has the newest Android 13. CPU: The CPU is ALLWINNER A523, which is a big Chinese brand which makes a lot of entry level processors. I can't complain too much, it's 8 core, and adequate for basic needs. I get lag here and there. I will add one final comment - this is advertised for kids, but in my experience, the larger the tablet the more fragile the screen. We've seen 8 and 10 inch tablets crack a lot easier than 7 inch tablets. Just food for thought.

This is an absolute must have for younger kids! I have tried several different brands and they all either lag, the touch isn’t responsive, are slow, or just aren’t made well. This kids tablet is truly very well made and very well thought out. The platform is setup for kids to use and it’s extremely user friendly for kids. The Google Kids corner is fantastic! I love being able to “approve” things before they are downloaded and being able to control and monitor my child’s activity. I also like the family locator on it so I know where my little one is at when she isn’t at home. The screen resolution is vibrant and bright. It is truly a great picture quality. It’s responsive to touch. It connects to internet immediately and is very fast compared to tablets in this price range. Let’s be honest, this is no iPad and you will not get iPad quality for this price, but it truly is a fantastic tablet for little ones to have and not have to worry if it gets broken or stops working. The case is one of those soft foam cases but it’s very sturdy and will hold up over time. It fits snugly inside the case and I feel it will stay put. The sound quality is great. It has 64GB if memory but can be upgraded via micro sd card up to 128GB. I got the purple one for my granddaughter and I can’t wait to give it to her for Christmas this year! Makes an excellent gift!
