I was skeptical to purchase these at first. I mean come on.... two.... TWO upholstered chairs for that price.... no way! Let me tell you, these are great! They are very sturdy and quite comfortable. It was very easy to put these together, but I will note that having two people would make it go much quicker. The material of these are great! I love that the covers can be taken off and washed. I would recommend not drying them though in case the material were to shrink they would not fit as well. The casters on these are so so. One of the chairs glides seemlessly while the other one has to have a little more ommffppp put into it. Overall, these are great for the price! They look very classy and high end. ... show more

My husband & I bought these to create a new look for our dining room. I wanted to have a room that was welcoming & comfortable as well as versatile for dining, games, or conversation. We wanted something less formal so we would use the room more. These chairs definitely fit the bill! The casters work great. They roll smoothly to allow ppl to move in & out of them since they larger in bulk than most DR chairs. The casters are hidden making them not appear to have an office chair look. As far as putting them together, my husband found it easy to do. He believes that the chairs are very well-made. And for a person like him who has no issues with putting things together using an Allen wrench, it probably only took him about 10 minutes to put a chair together. The slip covers are relatively easy to put on especially after the first or second chair. There is Velcro around the part of the slip cover that attaches to the seat bottom ensuring that the slip cover stays in place. There’s also Velcro on the bottom of the cushion that prevents the bottom cushion from slipping off the chair. The cushions are quite comfortable and the chair size feels good. The slip covers are already on the bottom cushion and the back cushion. We have a 60 inch round table that seats six easily. We bought two sets of four chairs so we could have two more chairs for when we put the leaf in our table. A couple of caveats, however: The blue definitely is not navy. It is more of a dark dusty blue (see photos). Lucky for us, we actually like the color a lot. If I had been adamant about having navy, they would have had to go back. A couple of the covers did not come all the way to the bottom, but it’s so negligible that it isn’t noticeable. The description says they are linen, but the material is much heavier and soft to the touch. All in all, these are a great value; one of the best we have gotten on Amazon. And, they are half the cost of our second choice! ... show more

I absolutely love these chairs. They are so cute and comfortable. They are easy to roll around in. Set up with a breeze. Each chair was assembled in about 15 minutes. I do not have a zipper on the back of mine or any issues with getting the fabric to go all the way to the bottom like some of the other reviews. I did have an issue with one of the chairs getting lost during transit, but the company was quick to respond and resolve the issue so great customer service on their part. The only downside to these chairs is that there is a strong chemical odor that comes off of it once you unboxed it, so I do recommend that you air it out before bringing it into your home. ... show more

We’ve had these for 6 months now and are pleased with our purchase. We bought 6 to use at our kitchen table. We can use 4 on a daily basis and roll the additional chairs in as needed for more guests. Assembly was quick and easy. We really liked that these came with removable covers for both the chairs and the seat cushions. We stain treated these before use so have not needed to attempt to wash them. Our son’s family had similar chairs and we liked the versatility that they could even be used to provide additional seating in the living room. Ours are still a bit stiffer and a little less comfortable than theirs but I will still choose these due to the removable covers. I am 5’3” and my husband is 6’3” and we can both comfortably sit and enjoy company around the table. These are a nice quality especially for this price, they roll smoothly, more comfortable than the standard dining chair, they move and function well in any room. ... show more

    • Zipper issue

The zipper up the back splits open when you try to zip it up after installing. We managed to remove slip cover and repair zipper, we kept the zipper zipped up when we replaced cover and for assembling the other 5 chairs. The cover needs to be put on square and it is difficult to get the slipcover on when it is zipped up. Everyone has had zipper issues at one time or other. You may manage to repair the zipper but it usually is a reoccurring issue once the teeth have separated . What do you do if the zipper splits up the back of chair at a later date? Replace zipper? Sew closed? The chairs look nice and they are comfortable . Can you purchase replacement covers? I would feel better if I had a spare cover for any future issues. Bought 6 chairs, took us over eight hours to put together with a lot of “f bombs” flying around. I don’t see how one person could assemble. ... show more

I was fully prepared to send these back, but we love them with one exception. The good news is they got rid of the zipper and the slipcover just easily pulls on. The fabric is beautiful and soft. Assembly is easy, although it's easiest with two people as there are some screws that would be awkward to reach and hold the pieces together at the same time. The arms slip right on and the casters seem to be solid. A real bonus is they can be wheeled into the living room for additional seating if you are hosting a large group. They are very comfortable. The only downside is that the chair sits a bit low because of the thick cushion, especially compared to the other chairs at our table. I'm 5'10 and my husband is 6'4 and we both feel it needs a little extra height. For now we use a throw pillow in each chair to add a couple inches but have a plan for a more permanent solution. I’m always nervous buying chairs I haven’t sat in, but these deserve five stars. They are more comfortable than you’d expect. They work well for guests of many sizes/heights comfortably and you can add wheels if you’d like. We got these for a small bay window area in our home and now they reside at all our tables. These chairs are so functional and beautiful. The color is a rich navy blue. The chair is comfortable and soft. We needed a chair in our condo that would give us additional seating in our living room when we had guest. We just roll them over. They are fantastic.
