But it. Last grow in an apartment closet had a FAINT smell, at best. Was probably just my imagination it was so faint. Also, you have a tant,lights, fan. That's not good for your humidity levels. You NEED to have fresh air circulating to avoid mold/rot. *Slaps the Chinese hood* THIS is your baby right here! Small tent? Would recommend. Filter to blower a little loose. I used metal tape. Noise is ok. Suction is really good.

This complete ventilation system for Grow Tents is extremely well-made and very robust. Everything you need is included in one package, saving you from having to source out various parts and hope that they fit together! Fan, filter, duct...it's all there. The system when mounted in a grow tent provides as much as 195CFM air flow, assuring that your plants stay healthy, without overpowering sound levels. The fan can be adjusted for sound levels as low as 30db, which is about the level of a human whisper! Placement of a grow tent in any location in a house becomes much less of a problem when the sound level is this low. Installation in a grow tent is painless and secure. This ventilation system has been absolutely perfect for my 48 x 24in grow tent that starts my veggies and herbs in late winter for later outdoor planting. My seedlings and young growth plants are thriving thanks to this ventilation system. All in all, I couldn't be more pleased with this well-designed, complete, and highly effective ventilation system. It's an unequivocal FIVE STAR rating from me, along with my honest and VERY hearty recommendation. VIVOSUN is clearly the leader of the pack when it comes to these systems and grow tents!     • Quality kit and well priced
This is your typical reliable Vivo Sun Carbon filter and Inline fan. This is only packaged together with everything you would need to operate it at a discount from buying individually. It is a good deal if you need all three things. The fan is reasonably quiet. It is the older style of inline fan and a bit more noisy then the more up to date options from Vivo. It still works well and pushes the suggested CFM and a lower cost. The carbon filter also works. This is my 10th Vivo carbon filter ranging in different sizes and they are good. They last half a year for me in the dusty but dry desert. I could probably get a little longer out of them, but I am sensitive to smell and I like to keep my home free of plant odor. This is a good kit as long as you stay within the grow are size parameters that this 4in set is made for. ... show more
