First let me say that I,personally,have no dislikes about this product. The quality of this filter is outstanding. Looks so good I hated to cover it with the prefilter which is also a quality product btw. My old unit was a 4” cheap unit which did work kinda. It would blow air but at about 5’ with to gradual bends in the hose you could barely feel any air coming out. The old filter never could keep up with smell. I have a 4x4x6.5 growtent. I did think it was going to be a bit small but figured I’d save some money. Well you do get what you pay for a lot of times and that was no exception. Live and learn and learn I did. I did my research and for the price and what all I read I decided on acinfinity. I also decided to filter the tent but also the room it stands it which is a 10x11’x7’t room hence why I went with the 8” filter and fan. I have the filter and fan in the tent and within a few minutes the smell was gone and my tent runs a few degrees cooler than before. I’ve been running it now for couple weeks at least and it has been truest amazing how well this works. I do believe when the time comes for a replacement filter I’ll be buying another one of these with no hesitation. ... show more

Filter sock came torn out the box, after installation it didn't last long and started to noticed smells after a couple weeks. After a little research the carbon wall on the A/C infinity filters is a lot thinner then other brand. A couple millimeters save the company a lot of money but the customer relaying on stealth pays the price. ... show more

It doesnt have a reversible flange for anyone wondering. However this is my filter of choice from now on. I've tried over 10 different filters to get rid of my smell from my grow tent. My first filter was an apollo 4 in and it worked great. Then I couldnt find them anymore so i switched to an ambargelli or however you spell it. They're garbage. Let smell through quote a bit. Tried an ipower same thing. Got to the point I thought I had leaks in my ventilation system. Switched to all PVC tubing and bought another ambargelli....same damn thing. I literally tried 10 different brand filters in the 30 to 80 dollar range and all of them let smell through to the point I would come home from work and could smell it walking in the door. Seen the ac infinity and decided to give it a shot expecting the same results. Hooked it up and within a minute ALL smell was eliminated!!! I couldn't believe it. It confirmed my suspicions of filters not doing their job. This filter is well built and the main thing is it works. I've been running it for a week now and have zero smell even standing right ouside of my grow area. Now I'm just hoping they stock more as I went back to buy a backup and it's not available. Do yourself a favor and dont mess around buying any other filter. If you can find it in stock buy this one. Trust me I've been through the headaches of trying to eliminate unwanted smells and this thing finally did the job ... show more

Please take this review as an unboxing only so far. It is build well, I wish and would of paid a few more dollars to see an american flag in place of made in china however it is still very nice. With the Made in China of course comes quality concerns and if you look at the last 2 pictures you see some burn marks from welding maybe?, the metal between my fingers is raised and sharp. Still worthy of 5 stars so far so if this is as bad as it gets ill live. They include a mesh filter to go over it anyway AND it has zero impact on its performance but my OCD makes me disclose it for fellow OCDers. Ill update should I find anything worth complaining about, if there is no update assume it is perfect and I wish I would have ordered a second if I knew they were going to sell out that fast. Second fault noted still feel its worth the 5 stars however, in the manual you will see them connect this directly to the T6, it is not possible to secure. While the filter is the female side, the opening is hard metal, there isnt a clamp strong enough to crush it so it will never secure directly to the fan. With their ducting backordered another 2 weeks I either settle for home depot piping and cancel my order or just wait. Sucks. ... show more
