The media could not be loaded. First off, design, really modern and cool! Looks amazing. Ok, so after using the humidifier for a week now, I never want to go without this model. With the 6 liter reservoir, the machine holds the humidity steady for at least 2 days before refilling it. So it has made my life easier already. I prefer to use RO water instead of tap water because the filters hold every unnecessary particle, so cleaning will be frequent with daily use. Super quiet machine, pumps hard. You can see it working through the see through tank, which I like. The remote is added plus. Overall, it does what it is supposed to do, keep the room humid at your preferred range. Only minor for me is that I cannot switch it on remotely with my wifi socket application. I am truly satisfied, that has to be said about the Vivosun 6l humidifier! *Updated after talking with Vivosun support: System is working well now and holding the humidity it is supposed to be. It seems like the humidity sensor had possibly gotten wet or had to get acclimanted. No issues with it keeping the proper humidity now and I would purchase this product again. Product works well and will pump out a lot of mist in a short period of time. The issue though, as most others are saying, the sensors. Sensors and automatic controls are terrible. Ambient humidity where this is located is around 50%. Set it to automatically keep it at 60% and the thing will never turn on. Set it to 65%, won't turn on. Set it to 70%... it finally turns on. Problem is that the stupid thing then doesn't shut off. Opened my grow tent after a night of this running and it was like a cool mist sauna in there. Separate sensor was reading 82% humidity... Floor and walls of the grown tent were covered in water and it was like a thick fog had taken over the rest of the area in the tent. If you're looking for automatic humidity control for a grow tent, look elsewhere. This unit will not help you. If you're just looking to pump out humidity, then go for it. I usually have humidity issues this time of year. I had 2 humidifiers running in my 4x2 grow tent and can barely get the R/H over 41%. I recently bought this one and honestly, I am very impressed so far. The internal hygrometer is very accurate with my external readings. I set the top R/H to 65% and it fluctuates 60%-63% in the environment. I received an immediate happy response from my plants. I haven't had any leaks and this machine runs very quietly.     • Humidity mode doesn't work
Style: 4.5L 2-in-1 Cool & Warm Mist Humidifier
I ordered 2 units for 2 small bedrooms. I need the one that I can set the humidity level and these 2 failed to deliver. After I set the mode to 50%, the units started working for 10 seconds, then the sensors read that the humidity reached the 50% in the room and stop while the room was still 40% humidity. The problem must be the sensor locations, it can not read through the mist that covered the unit. Then I increased the mode to 60% so it can spray mist more frequently. Oh well, even when the unit screen showed that the level was now 55%, it didn't start. And if you put it on "sleep mode" which most of us will do at night, the mist will be automatically at the lowest level and you can't change that. Btw, the mist doesn't spray up straight like what they showed in the advertising. They were at 45 degree angle. If you point the nozzles at the front or near the front, the mist will cover the sensor and the unit will stop. How about point the nozzles to the side? You will get the 10 seconds working that I mentioned above, and depend on where you put this unit, the annoying bright blue lights at night shine right in your eyes because the dark plastic covers are only for the front and the back. Overall, I like the look of the units but I will definitely return them. ... show more

    • Leaks No Matter What I Do
Style: 6L Quiet Ultrasonic Humidifier
I purchased this humidifier 3 months ago. Firstly, I have used several other humidifiers in the past, so I am quite familiar with what to expect, and how to clean and care for them properly. Pros: it is rather quiet, and I liked the night mode, which turns off the display and disables beeping noises. Their customer support is great and promptly rectified my issue. Personally, I dislike the fact that you must remove the whole tank to fill upside down, then carefully place back onto the main unit. Now, for the tough part, Cons: - Its quite a process to clean each week (every humidifier should be cleaned often). You need to remove the tank, and unscrew the cap. -The cap got stuck on my several times and took several people, and rubber grips to open. -There are small areas that are hard to reach with anything but a q-tip. The inside of the tank is nearly inaccessible and you can only rinse it very well, you cannot fit a hand or cloth in to wipe it down. -This unit LEAKS no matter what I do. I made sure to follow the instructions, use clean water, clean the unit thoroughly, did all troubleshooting, and ensured the unit was carefully placed back onto the base. I even sat there for several minutes ensuring it was balanced flat and perfectly aligned....and yet it leaked 5 times. The whole tank emptied onto my table & floor. It ruined my wooden table. And I used so many towels to soak up the lake on my floor. Eventually, the tank started making a whirring noise. And now I am scared to ever turn it back on for fear the motor burns up, or that it will flood my floors again! This unit is likely faulty and must not seal properly when re-installing the tank. However, after this experience, I am skeptical and will look elsewhere. I only gave this 3 stars because of the manufacturer's assistance. They apologized for the issue and refunded the item. Into the dumpster, it goes, sadly, and after only 3 months. ... show more
