This product has some good stuff going for it, but overall has a number of unfortunate problems that make it hard to recommend. First, the assembly is easy and is reasonable to move around. The final product - wood chips - are very nicely sized. Changing the blades is pretty easy, though it'd have been nice if the proper allen wrench were included in their kit if extras. When it works it works pretty quickly. It may be durable , but it's hard to tell right now. That's about all the perks. By far the biggest issue is the design of the exit chute and the included catch bag. There is so much air blowing out the exit that if you just have the bag sitting there, even with the loops handles on the little attachment hooks, all your wood chips just blow all over the place. It also has a serious tend to blow back up at you. You have to do a lot of clever tricks to try and get it just perfect and it still blows chips everywhere of collapses the bag. It's terrible. I started using a 5 gallon bucket and then wrapping mesh around any openings. It's still pretty ridiculous. The second biggest grip is the handheld pusher thing that your use to push branches into the hopper. It's skinny and so getting it on top of the stick and pushing while it's bouncing around is tedious. Inend up using the flat more often than the end. Finally, the blades just don't seem to last that long - maybe 10 gallons of chips before its struggling. That's about 20-30 minutes of use if you arent fumbling with the bag. It's a good idea, and it has helped, but it's a bit fiddly.

The chipper works fantastic. Have used it twice and chipped every piece I fed into it without any problems. The only complaint I have is the collection bag. It is basically a reusable shopping bag and the mulch coming out punched holes right through it.

The media could not be loaded. I purchased this chipper specifically for fall cleanup in our backyard as we get a lot of dropped branches from our oak trees, and I put it straight to work when it arrives today. The setup was quite easy, really only took a moment or two. Seeing that there is an included replacement set of blades and a set of bushings is a very appreciated inclusion. A lot of electric shredders don't bother with these replacement parts and expect you to buy them later on. So far it easily handled everything I've put to it. Including a couple of branches about an inch and a half thick that's barely cleared the opening. Do keep in mind like any chipper/shredder it's going to be loud. The sticker on the outside says it's just over 100 db, and that's well under the typical safety cut off, but I still chose to wear hearing protection. The included gloves and eyeguards are definitely important as well. You never know when a little chunk of something make him fly in your way. Last but not least, the included bag is more handy than I thought it was going to be. It hooks directly onto the sides of the shredder so it's not blow away. It really collected everything very cleanly, there was hardly anything that got blown out. I'm very happy with this shredder, it's going to make my yard cleanup significantly easier and go out in less bins.

I’ve put this thing through practically industrial use. Bought initially to grind the small limbs of a Holley tree I was cutting down at my parents’ house. I use it regularly at my own house for the various trees I have to trim a few times a year that amount to several feet high piles of limbs each time. It makes quick work of the debris, and I spread the output in the gardens.

Used it for forsynthia. It chewed them up. Assembly is super easy. Operation? Easy. Leaves? no!!! NO!!! leaves won't work!!! This is for sticks.

Worse experience ever...do not buy this product. They sent a defective box, then Amazon sent it back to them and this is the second day and I haven't heard anything at all
