I recently purchased the VIVOHOME Food Dehydrator, Electric 400W 8 Trays Fruits Dehydrated Dryer with 48H Timer and Temperature Control 95-176℉, BPA Free, Black, with high hopes of efficiently drying various fruits and herbs. However, my experience with this product has been far from satisfactory. One of the main issues I encountered with the VIVOHOME Food Dehydrator is its significantly longer drying time compared to what was advertised. Despite setting the timer for 14 hours and adjusting the temperature within the recommended range, I was disappointed to find that my basil leaves and parsley were still not adequately dry. This extended drying time was not only inconvenient but also affected the overall quality of the dehydrated produce. Moreover, the inconsistent drying performance of this dehydrator was a major drawback. Even after leaving the herbs in the dehydrator for an extended period, some leaves were overly dry and brittle, while others remained moist and under-dried. This lack of uniformity in the drying process made it difficult to achieve the desired results and compromised the overall effectiveness of the product. Additionally, the VIVOHOME Food Dehydrator's build quality did not meet my expectations. The trays felt flimsy and did not fit securely within the unit, leading to concerns about their long-term durability. This lack of stability made it difficult to load and unload the trays without accidentally disturbing the contents, further adding to the frustration of the already lengthy drying process. While the dehydrator claims to be BPA-free, it would have been helpful to receive some form of certification or assurance regarding its safety standards. This would have provided peace of mind, especially when dealing with food products. In conclusion, the VIVOHOME Food Dehydrator, Electric 400W 8 Trays Fruits Dehydrated Dryer with 48H Timer and Temperature Control 95-176℉, BPA Free, Black fell short of my expectations. Its extended drying time, inconsistent performance, and questionable build quality make it difficult for me to recommend this product. I hope that VIVOHOME takes these criticisms into account and works towards improving their dehydrator's functionality and reliability in the future. ... show more
