Very nice for what we need. We are using it for over the spa. The sun comes in at just the wrong angle, and my husband has skin cancer. He can't be in the sun. I really like it. It has the feel of a shower curtain, but that's all we need.

Easy setup and looks great with my stand. Only disappointment is the 2nd time used the plastic foot broke off and trying to get the leg out was a hassle. We ended up putting in a bolt to pull out the leg. Otherwise, it’s held up nicely under windy conditions.

Exactly what I needed. My deck is barely 8' wide. This product being approximately 8' X 8' (at the base, when frame is set up, without telescoping legs extended) worked as I predicted. I set up the frame & placed it on the top board covering the deck railing. That board extends the deck floor width by several inches. Easily secured to railing with small C clamps for simple takedown. Additional bonus, is that I can keep the frame legs unextended, making them sturdier, while still having ample overhead room. Setting up the frame can be done by one person, but it will take you at least 30 minutes & you'll need some tied off rope to hold the opposite side of the frame while you pull & extend the other side. You'll have to repeat that process several times & be quite patient. ... show more

At the price point, this is a good canopy. It feels a little fragile when you are spreading it open during setup, but in two outings, I had no problems. Handled 12Kn of wind with no trouble (I did have sand bags on the legs and had staked the legs - but no guy-lines).

I should have read more of the reviews. I tend to agree with the reviewers who stated that this isn't a true 8'x8' structure; it's smaller. The canopy is flimsy and only attaches by cheap velcro. Unlike the Ozark Trail canopies (which are actually better quality and cheaper than this one) it does not pack away in a nice little tidy zip-up bag. The storage bag is ENORMOUS. They should have designed this to fit in about half as much space for storage by allowing the legs to collapse more. The instructions were insufficient for assembly. There's a trick to get the legs to lock in place once the "roof" is expanded. I had to lift it off the ground at an angle to gain the leverage to get them to lock. I would not recommend this product. Next time I'll go with a better and more reliable brand. ... show more

While the company's claim that one person can assemble it requires that it's being done on grass, so that something is holding the opposite side, is an omission I can live with, the thing is a true value! The canopy top is first rate: I expect it to hold up well.

    • Not worth it - falls apart after a month.
The top ripped after a month, just from being outside. Was easy to put together. Pain to move around and take down.
