  • Literally Fell Apart!
I am so disappointed. I was so excited about this larger tent for our "outdoor music festival" lifestyle. I went up easy like the tents I've had before but when it was time to break it down, it literally broke down! I've owned and used regularly this type of canopy/tent and we know how to work together so the joints are collapsed before moving in toward the middle make it compact in order for it to fit easily into the bag/carrying case. It us typically effortless which is why I love these because even though it takes more time, 1 person can even do it alone. Well I had help, same people who always help me set up and break down. The first joint pops...like literally broke away. So we were extra careful thinking it can still be used with one broken joint. Before it was over several joints popped. Some with screws and some just broke off. It was maddening. It's important to make sure all of the joints with the black rubber pieces have been tapped in so you are not working against a locked joint. We knew what we were doing. I am thoroughly disappointed especially since it is past the date that I can return it! We literally left it at the park where the music festival was held because it was basically a pile of metal rods. I wish the seller would make this right regardless of the return time expiring. One time out of the bag and I have nothing to use now. ... show more

  • Love this Canopy Tent!
I absolutely love this tent. It was big enough to put a 6' table in it and chairs for five members of my family plus extra room. Easy to put up and take down!

  • Gets the job done! Good seller communications.
I didn't expect a lot for a canopy WITH mosquito netting at this price point, but I am pleasantly surprised. It's easy to setup & takedown (a huge plus & main reason for purchasing this one, as I live in an apartment complex & can't leave it up 24/7), the mosquito netting is easy to install (though I think I'd prefer velcro on the roof piece that the wall pieces could attach to, vs the 'loop the velcro straps over the frame' method it has, but that's minor), it comes with stakes to help stabilize the legs into the ground (those attachment points are made of sturdy plastic vs the metal of the rest of the frame; we'll see how long those hold up), the zippers for the front & back openings work well. I presume that between staking the legs and using the tension rope things, you'd be pretty good if it got windy (but not overly so, obviously). Again, so long as it isn't too windy, I believe the canopy would help keep you dry in the rain. That the canopy is usable even without the mosquito netting is a nice touch. So far, I've only used it twice, in my backyard, but it worked perfectly for the reason I got it - letting me stay outside to talk to my friend in the shade during the day, and without getting bitten to death by mosquitoes as the evening begins. We plan to eat dinner outside under the canopy as well, to keep the flies, etc, off the food, as well as create a separate "mealtime" zone for them to take a little break. The 'storage bag' is not high quality, and is already coming apart at the seam in places, but I feel like that's common these days, sadly. It's made from that weird plasticky-yet-papery 'fabric', kinda similar to what covers the bottom of your boxspring, that your cat quickly tears through so he can climb inside to hide (though it IS thicker & more closely woven than "boxspring fabric", fwiw). If you choose to buy this item, I'd look to see if you can purchase a storage/carrying bag WITH WHEELS if possible; while you can carry this, I certainly wouldn't recommend doing so by the handle provided on the included storage bag, and it *IS* sorta heavy - a wheeled bag (do they make those??) would definitely be worth the investment, particularly if you plan to use the canopy often. I *DID* have an issue with my order, and the seller was very quick to address my problem & fix it, so A+ to them for that. Overall, better than I expected at this price point, but don't expect some kind of fancy-schmancy item - it's a 10×10 canopy with mosquito netting, and that's it. I feel it's worth the cost, despite its minor flaws. If you need a canopy for a very windy area, I'm not sure this is for you, but otherwise, it should work great! The seller communicates quickly & is eager to be helpful and resolve any issue you may have with the item or process, which is a lovely change in this day & age, haha. This canopy w/mosquito netting is everything I hoped for but worried might be too good to be true, lol. -BMC ... show more

  • Solid Canopy comes with sandbags (empty)
Reinforced joints, solid construction, has grommets on ceiling to drain water, came with surprise sand bags not mentioned in listing, excellent price. I wouldn't put it up on majorly windy or wet days, but seems solid.

  • Very Good customer service - Mesh Walls are a Tradeoff for Stronger Frame
Tested it out upon receipt and it was ... okay. I knew I had to be careful based on the reviews. Bottom line is I ended up returning the item. It was for a work thing, and I needed something sturdy that could withstand multiple builds and tear-downs. It did not meet my needs and I did not have time to get it replaced by the vendor. They offered to send me a new one, but I already had a replacement and could not wait for another to arrive. The customer service was absolutely top notch. Their proposed solution might have been an acceptable fix, and it turned a negative situation into one where I might reconsider a future relationship. As for the actual product itself, it's probably okay for a summer campout or whatever. I don't see it having a long life span, but others may have a better experience than I did. I would recommend that the telescoping legs not be fully extended as this is perhaps the weakest point during even a slight breeze. A 10-15KM wind would stress the frame in several places. The canopy is okay, but it could also stand to have a vent in the top to deal with breezy days. This is not a product that would hold up in an open field on a windy day but more like a canopy in a park surrounded by trees and other things. The mesh is the differentiator here - if you don't explicitly want it for protection from insects, then focus on getting a canopy with a better frame. That's the tradeoff: stronger frame versus mesh walls. I'd give the product maybe a 1.5 to 2, and the customer service a 5 overall. ... show more

  • Does not hold up well against rain or wind
I bought this canopy last year to set up in my patio. I really liked it at first, it was easy to set up and it looked really nice. Unfortunately we got some heavy rain and 30mph winds this week that completely destroyed my canopy :(. I tried to fix it but it broke off in so many different sections that it would be impossible to fix. It was good while it lasted. ... show more
