She told me yeah it would do just fine so I ordered it they put it on. Damn that little gem has changed my filtration system. Very powerful pump, worked great. Things to know. Does not line up with a Hayward filter. You need to adapt to make it work. Also, I had an issue with 1 inch 1/4 inch fittings as I needed to try 2 different adapters to stop a slight leak. But again very powerful. If you can't work with adapters go with original if you want to be safe and spend the extra cash on original parts. ... show more

Had to return it because it is for in-ground pools. I have an above ground storable pool. It appeared to be a good by. It doesn’t come with a ground so you will have to consult an electrician. I found this out when reading the instructions on how to install it.

As title states. Took basket off the shaft which is sealed by a o ring. The shaft had slight rough spot. I had to sand and polish to ensure better deal.

I really liked the pump, easy to install, works great, two major down falls. the power cord is way too short, almost too short, a major issue with me due to safety concerns.
