Fist of all, this mount does exactly what it's designed to do, which is to hold a CPU within a specified size range. As far as I could tell from my own measurements, Vivo's specifications accurately reflect the size CPU case this mount will accommodate. Frankly, most modern CPU's will fit this mount with room to spare. CPU cases have shrunk considerably in recent years, the major exception being gaming PCs, in which case a more expensive mount is warranted. It is unfortunate that so many buyers have chosen to vent their anger at having ordered the wrong mount by giving it mediocre ratings. To echo one of the other reviews, don't drill into your desk until you've checked to see that your CPU will fit this mount. However, if you do, please don't blame Vivo for your mistake. It isn't fair to those for whom this mount is perfect. That the height isn't continuously adjustable should not be an issue for most. Unless the intent is to mount this in an SUV and take it off-road, a properly seated CPU isn't going to go anywhere. The top of the CPU is held in place by a clamp from the side and as long as the clamp is made snug with the CPU, not even a minor earthquake should shake it loose. I doubt the internal components of the CPU are mounted as securely. Potential buyers shouldn't be deterred by by reports of a gap between the case and the top of the mount. If your CPU's dimensions will fit this mount, this is an incredibly solid mount and a real bargain. Before I proceed, let me state for the record that my computer is an iMac, so there is no CPU case. What I have is a CyberPower 1500VA uninterruptible power supply, which is similar in size and shape to that of a CPU case. In fact, it's heavier than most CPUs, but still well-within specs for this mount. I have a small desk with no space available underneath it, but a lot of space behind it, so this mount is a perfect way to get the UPS out of the way, yet keep it accessible for plugging in a multitude of components. The top is wider that the available space, even set at the minimum size, but I was able to mount it high enough on the back of the desk that it clears the window sill, fitting perfectly. The top of the mount was a perfect place to mount a Vivo dual-arm VESA mount, and all I had to do was to remove the existing, rotating bracket and use the existing holes for the attachment. It was as if they designed it with that in mind. Overall, I can find no fault with the construction of the mount. It's designed for multiple points of attachment to a desk, including mounting it under a desk, and the mount is very solid and sturdy. Adjustments for the size of the CPU are very easy to make and the mount should accommodate a wide variety of CPU cases (or UPS units), except perhaps for do-it-yourself computers built in oversize cases, and oversize gaming PC's, especially those with liquid cooling. Even with the modifications I made to attach a dual VESA stand to the mount and to install a UPS, installation took less than an hour using a cordless drill, some driver bits and a set of wrenches. I bought this CPU mount for a new Desk I just built and I finally wanted my PC Tower off the floor and off of the Table top. My Tower is roughly 8" x 20" x 19" and is pretty heavy. I elected to install it to the side of my desk under the table top. The width just made it at 8" and the height was good at 20". The CPU Mount is heavy steel, well constructed and engineered well with the adjustable height and width. Fasteners are high grade and well thought out. The one recommendation I would make is to add the option to have an additional adjustable bottom plate similar to the top one to grab the bottom and to give more plate surface on the bottom. Only half of my tower's bottom is held in place. I would also suggest more foam stickys, and larger ones to cushion the various plates against the CPU. I overwhelmingly suggest this product. I bought this as an "Amazon Warehouse Used Product". A family member hooked me up with a sweet standing desk but I was having an issue with my cords from my PC tower getting yanked when I changed desk positions. I purchased the listed PC mount. Amazon, per usual, did a great job on delivering this to me in lightning speed. The box was a bit liquid stained and after a thorough inspection of the product - I found hardly any damage (remember this was Amazon Warehouse used). none really. The mounting took all of 5 minutes with a power drill. It fits perfectly in the small space between supports on my desk. I wanted to react to some of the other reviews. Yes getting a /perfectly/ snug fit will elude you but I haven't noticed my MicroATX tower wavering or standing loose in the mount. The provided bump pads work well enough. My one complaint, though minor, is that I wish it had a strap that wrapped from the more "open" end of the mount to the base of the mount. It would definitely make me feel a bit more secure and it would shush all those snug fitters out there. All in all, very good product does what it set out to do. ... show more

I started off with a 62" manually adjustable workstation from my local orange hardware store. It has a metal trough covering the height adjustment drive-shaft. This was the perfect spot for the mount. I installed 1/4-20 rivet nuts and drilled a couple holes and job done! I also bought the Vivo dual monitor mount and cable management sleeve seen the the first picture. Very pleased with the result and too embarrassed to show the pic of what I had been using for years prior. BTW: The Rivet nuts and tools are also sold on Amazon. ... show more

I got this for my streaming pc since I stream on mixer everyday and wanted to get it off the ground to keep it cool for my new desk and it was super easy to install. Took about 10 minutes. Very sturdy. Great product. GlockN9ne approved.

So, I've a motorized desk and I wanted to do a few things to make my setup cleaner. I'm not foolish enough to mount my 40lb computer onto any system. I was however willing to mount my UPS in a way that doesn't make it likely to break away from the underside of my desk. Installation was relatively simple though I do admit I used a power drill both for pre-drilling and actual drilling to avoid breaks. Overall satisfied though my only gripe is the rotation. It makes sense for it's intended use but wish I could configure it a bit more to be reversed. ... show more
