    • Position the gas canister so the notch (cut out) aligns with the metal tab

Got it today. I locked the Butane canister inside by putting the latch down. I didn’t hear any gas; I tried using a match to light & nothing happened. It seems the gas was not flowing out of the burner. I disengaged the canister then rotated it until the notch in the canister aligned with the little metal tab of the stove. I then tried locking the canister and it fully engaged - and the stove worked. My advice: when inserting the canister make sure the notch in the canister is upright/facing you and aligns with the little metal tab; then press the lock lever. You will see that the canister engages fully. It seems that the little metal tab has to fit inside the notch in the canister for the gas to flow to the burner. ... show more

IF IT WORKS I WOULD LIKE TO BUY ANOTHER….FOUND THE PROBLEM FIXED IT…YOU MUST MAKE SURE BUTANE CAN SLOT LINES UP WITH SMSLL LEVER… STILL WANT A SECOND ONE …THEY ARE VERY NICE.

I am returning this. Used one 3 day camping trip. It never would stay on a lower flame. 50% of the time when I started it it would roll up and burn gas and not go down. I would have to turn it off. Wait a couple minutes and try again. I’m going to spend more money and try a better model.
