At first, the power and quickness of the electrical assist surprised me, but I got comfortable in no time. I hate to admit it, but I find myself using the electric mode (which requires no pedaling) more and more everyday. It is much like a scooter and very fun. Overall the bike handles like a cruiser and pedals with ease given 7 gear options. The shifter works well and does not get hung up too often. The bike is heavier with the battery but it is not that noticeable. The battery can also be removed when you know you won't be using it, or when you're charging it. It is GREAT that this has disc brakes to slow down the power of an electric bike. I kept track and for over one week, 1 hr/day, ~15 miles using assist and electric only mode, the battery indicator shows half life. It folds down to a more compact size, which is so useful if you want to transport it in your car, or fold it up for storage. We got this initially for grandma to be able to keep up with the kids. It turned out to be too high for her legs at the lowest setting (she's 5'1""). My wife (5'4"") has no issues and loves using this bike with the kids. Overall, we never expected to be so won over by electric bikes; this is a great ride, and at a great price for what you're getting. There are other 'bells and whistles' included like a very loud alarm and front/back lights/accessories that add to overall biking safety and comfort. Unboxing the bicycle was easy and the package included all the tools needed for assembly. It took about 30 minutes to put together (handle bars, seat, front wheel, fenders, pedals, air pumped into tires). There was no instruction manual in the box and the QR code led to nowhere, but I was able to find how-to videos on other similar models. I also later found that they emailed me some tips, which were helpful. Speaking of the seller, we contacted them because of an issue with the battery and they resolved it quickly; we were happy to see that they offered good customer service. Where do I start? Ok, everyone will ask the same, so it will go as far as about 25 miles on spped 1, 18 miles on speed 2 and 12 miles on speed 3, that's the range, and for full speed it can achieve 20mph if you're 170lb. Ok, now about quality... it's a chinese bicycle so there are some corners cut, but less cuts than many around, let's see... Main cut is in labor... All the bolts come loose, and I mean ALL, from rotors to stem, so if you never touched an allen key, it will be a good day torquing bolts. Make yourself a favor and don't cut corners, buy locktite blue, remove bolt by bolt and lock them, or you will start losing pieces. Once all's tight, all's good. Buy cable management hose, half inch wide, and make the wires look arranged like I did. Get yourself a metal crate and attach it with zip ties to the rack, it will make your ride super confortable. Lube everything, even the rims so nothing rusts, because everything will rust, use wd40 gel, it sticks and stays. I hate flats, specially in rear hub bikes, so bought thorn resistant tubes, green slime and mr tuff protectors and installed all, today I changed the rear tire because it was worn out after endless rides. Ok, from my point of view... A foldable bike, with nice working suspension, aluminum frame, 8ah battery, mudguards, rack, quier smooth ride, nice disk brakes, shimano derraileur, solid build. I payed 550 when this just appeared in amazon and for that price I would buy them again without hesitation. One thing I really liked is that it comes decently lubed, even the motor gears. In my experience with ebikes they always come with dried up lube everywhere and moving parts won't last, not the case with these two. Also batteries are easy to find and relatively cheap, so you can easily fit a battery 3 with times more capacity. ... show more

The bike came well packaged and almost completely assembled. Bike is fast and well constructed. It folds and fits into my rather small Mazda 6 trunk and i take this bike on several different bike paths through out my city. Battery life is as good as it is described. Its a cool looking bike. Customer service is also great reaponding to any questions within a 24hr period. This is the best bike ive ever owned well worth the price and I Highly recommend. ... show more

Had an issue with the bike and customer service helped to resolve it immediately. Thank you so much! ********* I was pleasantly surprised to ride this bike, beautiful looking, super stable and smooth ride even without any throttle. That's the huge plus in case if you run out of battery and needs to ride yourself home. I haven't tried folding it yet but I see myself using it very often for my weekend trips around the town. Seat cushion is very comfortable, didn't bother me at all when I rode it for 1.25 hours. Only thing I didn't like about this is missing instruction. It took a while to find exact tutorial to assemble the bike. Overall, I am very happy with the bike. Build seems to be durable, hope it lasts for years. ... show more

The step through design is easy for 70 year old me to get my leg over. It comes with a light and Horn which is nice. It would have been easier to put together if I wasn't so weak good thing it's not one of those heavy bikes. I did put together on my own which was good. I have ridden it several times. I'm still a little unsteady with it because I have not ridden a bicycle for quite a few years. But it's fun. The only real complaint that I have is the seat is not very comfortable at all and I will be changing that out. The reason for the battery rating is because I have not drained the battery yet, so I can't give an accurate rating there and the Comfort rating is because of the seat. ... show more

I initially purchased the VIVI Z3 E-Bike to carry in my camper and use at campgrounds. Now that I have it, I find myself using and enjoying it as often as I can. So much fun to pedal for exercise and switch over to electric power when I need an extra boost or going a longer distance.
