I have now purchased 2 of these ebikes. 750 watts to the Bafang motor gets you moving with ease. The brakes are too weak for the weight of these bikes. I have upgraded one of them to hydraulic brakes and it is super nice. Upgrades so far: new pedals with sealed bearings. Hydraulic brakes. Inner tube liners, to protect against thorns. We have gone on the beach and the mountains. So much fun! Make sure the battery is locked in or it can pop off on bumps. I plan on upgrading the rear brakes to 180mm it came with 180 up front and 160 in back. Customer service is very good. 1 year warranty too ... show more

I purchased this bike in August, it was delivered about a month later, in Sept. 2022. The bike was assembled with no issue and it worked for about 2-3 weeks. I have experience with electric skateboards and electric bikes. However, after no issues with riding it for those few weeks, the electronic component completely stopped working and the bike will not move. I contacted the seller and they informed me that I need to open the controller box to obtain serial number, but get this - one of the four screws was screwed in so tightly by the manufacturer that I am unable to open the controller box. I have taken the bike to three e-bike shops, none of which were able to assist. We've even resorted to trying to break open the controller box, to no avail. At this point maybe a blow torch would be the only thing to do the trick. I have given the seller MONTHS to remedy the situation. This was a very expensive purchase that was a complete waste of precious money and precious time spent driving to any e-bike repair shop I could find. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. BUY LOCALLY so that you can bring it to someone who knows how to work on it. I am out of A LOT OF MONEY. DO NOT RECOMMEND. ... show more

I wanted an electric bike to use hunting. I wanted to get farther in the woods and quieter than anyone else and I refuse to spend $3000.00 on some other hunting specific bikes with less or the same specs. The 750 watt motor rides through grass with no problem and concours smaller hills with ease. I have gotten the bike up to 28mph using petal assist and 22mph without and I weight about 270 lbs. The gears have worked better than any bicycle I ever bought at Wal-mart. This is the first bike I have had with disc brakes and the work flawlessly. There are 3 negatives I have with the bike. 1st the light never worked (but I don’t really care) 2nd the battery pack moves from side to side a little (I think it should be more secure, but as long as it does not break I am ok with that as well). And lastly is the seat. The seat is comfortable, how ever it adjusts differently than any other seat I have used and occasionally slips and the front points up and digs into the groin area instead of being able to sit on the rear part of the seat where it is cushioned. To make this short and simple. The bike is very well responding comparing to what i expected, i don't know if this due to because this is my first ebike in the 10 years of cycling so you have the choices how would you PREFER to ride. The bike it's heavy but very easy to ride obviously. Top speed is depending on you , the load and how much would you ride as PAS ( pedaling assists system mode) with about160 lb loaded with my πŸ”§ gears and myself Has plenty of power i needed. Especially uphill πŸ˜‚. (Sorry but i had to test it) My top speed was with PAS was 45 km/h as normal but pedaling as fast as it can go was 54 km/h. I would suggest to use PAS to last your battery otherwise it won't last as much but it would last you milestone from the regular bicycle. The Break pad makes lots of squeaking sounds when it stops. It has 2 noticeable scratched ( the front where is the headlight go and on the left side frame right underneath the battery ) The battery is to wiggle side to side i wonder how long it can hold it but im sure im gonna be care with it but i won't risk it to much to take it to a mountains unless i reinforced the battery otherwise it might fail my ride and that is the main problem it's very heavy to be pedaling if the battery comes off FYI . So far i have been riding it to test it for myself BUT on the pavement road. And raining day and it performed very acceptable. As of right now the ODO is marking at 398 km. Now i have to wait for snow and summer heat. I might getting an other for my wife or a smaller frame or style. Thank you for reading and lets go ride... Oh... Absolutely LOVE our bikes. Yes we have 2 of them. These particular bikes are made for trail riding in the woods. We have had several flat tires, but we fixed those as that's not under warranty. Anything else we needed to fix for various reasons, the seller was right on top of it and ALWAYS responded quickly and got new parts out to us. I bought this for my 13 year old daughter. She started out with a smaller unit and upgraded to 750W. We purchased it in May and recently received a error code on the display. I searched youtube and google to figure out how to clear it and all indications required a replacement of the controller. I visited the Aostirmotor website and began my communication with the service team through email. I follow the steps provided. I was required to take a few pictures of the display with the error showing. After a few days a new controller was received. I follow the directions for installation and now my daughter is back on the road.
