The media could not be loaded. I had purchased a bike for my son that even after putting it together, I was still having to adjust handlebars, brakes and a lot more other things which in total took about 3 hours from start to finish. With this bike, in under 45 minutes, it was put together and I was riding it. After putting everything together, I found that at first, I was having difficulties putting the battery on. It wasn't until I noticed that the keys that come with this help lock the battery in place so no one steals it. Once that was done, I was able to flip the power button on the side on and start riding. To get the bike started, you do need to start pedaling, but once it starts, you can then start using the motor. Whether I'm going slow, medium or fast, this bike has a smooth ride to it. I recently took it to a beach trip and it made riding along the coastline not only easier but it allowed me to go for a longer than normal ride. I manually pedaled the first half and then had the bike take me back. Switching gears is really simple, just push a button and done. Braking is gentle, meaning it's not an abrupt stop when using the motor. What I thought was cool and didn't notice but it comes with a bike bell that people can actually hear. When done riding, this did come with a power cord to charge the battery and while it does take a bit, once it's charged, it automatically shuts off. The covers that go in the front and back that help block debris, water, mud and anything else from hitting me during my ride are pretty self explanatory when installing. It's a matter of looking at a picture of the bike and then matching the screw holes. Whether I'm riding on flat or hills, this bike has never once struggled when I use the motor on this bike. Our bikes are 350w. We weren't sure what to expect since these were our first e-bikes. We Haul our dog that is 30 lb in a cart for toddlers behind the one bike and it works fine. The more weight you put on the bike the less battery life you have. They are nice bikes for the price our only regret is we should have ordered step through not step over. We recently ordered new bikes with step through, longer battery life and bigger Motors we haven't received those yet but we are excited to go further with more battery life. Everything came out of the package in fine condition and the assembly went well. However, the computer on the handlebars was dark and totally dead. I contacted the seller through Amazon and they told me to put a voltmeter on the charger and and also on the battery and send them a photograph of the readings. It's necessary to remove the battery from the bike in order to do the voltage reading but I could not get the battery off the bike. Finally, using all my strength I was able to pull the unlocked battery forward along the bottom bar and that released it so I could take a voltage reading. Both the charger and the battery had a good reading, and to my surprise when I replace the battery the bike came alive. It's raining now and I have not ridden the bike but everything looks just fine and I was pleased with customer service and how willing they were to work with me. ... show more

I have ridden the bike for about 200 miles and would like to share some observations. First it arrived on time and was well packed. Assembly was straightforward and the included manual and tools helped. I did need to recenter the disk brakes. For someone that has not been around bikes and not worked on them it would benefit to find some help. The top speed of 20mph is plenty for me, for a 350 watt motor it does fine. The biggest improvement would be a 4 or 5 level of pedal assist instead of 3 levels. I did replace the knobby tires with regular street tires as no off roading is planned. Bottom line, I am happy with the bike, for the price it is a good deal. The battery charger failed after the first charge, I messaged the seller about the failure and a new charger was sent. It's a good ride to do what you need to do ; What would really make bike , is if their was 1 lower speed - for start up : The instant speed is sometimes , a bad thing at start up . My neighbor , he rear ended a truck ; my self , running my dog , another dog tried to say hi , I stopped , now trying too deal with 2 dog's , bike took off, bringing the front up , spinning now , got to the break leaver , power discontinued ! All ended well ! Top end is perfect for my pup , the quick power at start up , has it's many benefits . How ever it can make the bike unsafe in different situations !! ... show more

I havent actually taken my bike out for a ride yet due to weather conditions but just from riding it in the hallway of my house id say the seat hurts, the chain needs adjusted, the headlight will need moved due to it rubbing the tire, im not too sure about the battery life or the power of it yet but seems like a durable bike that'll need a few minor upgrades ... show more
