This is my first Ebike. I've wanted one for years but did not want to spend $2000.... after looking around for weeks online and every brand and model in my price range, I found myself over and over always coming back to this 500W Vivi Ebike. It has everything I had in mind for what I wanted an Ebike for. Enjoyment cruising and utility. It's very comfortable. Suoer solid frame, nice front suspension soaks up bumps. Its weighty and provides a smooth safe ride, it really feels like it holds the road! Nice upright riding position 👌🏽. Great it has headlight & taillight/brake light. Large and strong utility rack on the back. Plus you can add more of your own if you wish, like a handlebar basket. Step-through design makes getting on/off a breeze. Bike functions EXACTLY as described. Using the controller box on handlebar is intuitive, simple, and it, and whole operation becomes second-nature quickly. I charged it when I got the bike and the power meter still has not moved off full ⚡ The bike arrived on-time via FedEx in perfect condition. It's about 80% preassembled and I did the assembly needed myself. I saw people had issues with installing the seat, that seemed to be a snag, but they have redesigned the seat assembly, its not like it has shown in prior videos and what people had stated. The seat went on super simple & fast. Just needed to mention that! I did write to Vivi with two small questions about operation and their customer service is top notch.very fast replies with easy to understand answers. Special shout-out to Jesse! 🙋♂️ Well, a week later I bought a 2nd Ebike so we both have them. Very happy with my purchases. Vive la Vivi ! 👍🏽

We purchased this bike back in November 2022 for our college-age daughter to ride from home to classes and possibly a job. It was eventually assembled after issues with that feature (not covered here). It looks good and appeared to run well. It lasted roughly 3 uses. The bike would not turn on. I checked the battery and it was dead. It had charged well over their 4-6 hour window with zero results. We contacted Amazon, but because we were past the 30 day window they wouldn't help. Then we contacted the seller. They wanted photos of the issue, which we sent. No solution. We requested a refund. They countered with a restocking fee and offered to send replacement parts. They wanted pictures of the battery voltage being checked, which we sent. Then we were told not to check voltage while charging (we didn't and the photo shows this). Bottom line: they are shifty. They don't want to return or refund anything. Maybe we're an outlier here, but I doubt it. I strongly suggest consumers look elsewhere. Buy local. It may cost more but at least you have a shop to handle problems (no one around here will touch it, since they don't sell these models). And I'm really mad because this is my daughter's college money being wasted here. I hope they lose sales as a result. Update (4/18/2023): Well, the poor review prompted some reaction. In messages back and forth with the company I explained that I would be happy to update my review of they would honor the manufacturer warranty, and supply us the replacement battery we requested. Well, they did! I was given a tracking number (which I checked, it was legit) and my daughter emailed me a photo when the battery arrived while I was at work). We charged it, installed it and her bike has been running fine. They even included links to videos showing some installation steps when I had a question. Now I watched a YouTube video on this very same bike and manufacturer that did not have a happy ending, so i was very worried that i was going to end up with an ebike that didn't work and a frustrated daughter, but these people stepped up (in my case) and took care if me as a consumer. I can't explain the other person's experience, but I wonder if, in my case, the language barrier really over complicated the entire experience: as a company they don't want to lose money and as a consumer I don't want a faulty product. At the end of the day, her bike is working, and that's the end result I wanted. I personally like the design and functionality of the bike. It does what it's designed to do. The company reached out to us to personally to apologize for the mistake, refunded us some money, and was very gracious in rectifying the problem. Now the bike works perfectly, and we are very happy with our product.

Arrived about 85% assembled & the rest was pretty straight forward! I swapped out the seat for something wider & softer as the seat it comes with just wasn’t very comfy for the long rides I’m hoping to take. Everything works as described & I was able to take it for a spin about an hour after I received it. Rides very smooth & has quite a bit of get up & go! The controls are very simple & it doesn’t take much to get the hang of gear shifting & pedal-assist options. I hvnt taken it on a long ride yet so I can’t comment on the battery life, I’ll edit my review accordingly ;) The price point is indicative of what you’re getting, and you can see that reflected in some of the bike parts like the fenders & chain guard (they’re plastic & I’m not so sure how well they’ll hold up, fingers crossed). But if you’re looking to spend under $1K on an ebike, this one has quite a lot going for it- it’s very comfortable (I’m 5’2) with multiple options for adjusting the handlebars & seat position which is super helpful, and the tires are good on both gravel and pavement. I like that the battery slides out so you can store & charge indoors if you’d like! It’s a fairly heavy bike & adding baskets & cargo carriers will only make it heavier (I added both, and went with lightweight wire mesh baskets on the front & back to keep the weight down). So far I’m very pleased with it! It’s a nice looking, fun little ride that didn’t break the bank. UPDATE: Really enjoying this bike! So far the battery life is as advertised & it’s nice knowing I can just ‘keep going’ without worrying about the trip back. The biggest thing to keep in mind is that the battery life depends on the terrain (hilly vs flat), the weight of the rider, and how much pedal assist you use. It’s pretty powerful & I rarely use anything but the lowest setting. Husband liked it so much we got one for him too!

This e-bike is amazing!!! Instructions could be MUCH better, but it wasn't too difficult to put together. Front mudflap is very flimsy since it only is secured at 1 spot. Purchased one from Amazon and it works way better! Battery removal is super duper easy! Seat is comfortable. My teenage boys love this bike. Extras installed: side mirrors, hook to hold helmet & front mudflap.
