I have thought about getting a hammock for years, but never did. Oh my. Why did I wait? This one is bliss!!! It was super easy to assemble. The hammock itself is easy to remove if you want to bring it inside. It's comfortable and sturdy and I love the fabric colors - the stripe pattern I chose reminds me of the ocean. ALSO - I read a review from someone who said this hammock doesn't swing. I have no idea what she was talking about. It will be still if you want it to or it will gently rock if you like. Like any swing or hammock, you need to extend a tiny bit of effort to get it to move. Sometimes I sit in it like a chair with a least one toe on the ground to push. I can dangle leg or push against a nearby object when lying down end to end as well. Another little trick I like it to tie a rope to a nearby porch post and I can pull on it ever so slightly to rock myself. I spend time in it every day. It's become a form of meditation.

First of all it was so easy to put together and it’s sturdy! I’m a petite woman but also muscular and weigh about 140lbs. I don’t feel like the thing is going to collapse. I put it together in no time and within the hour I was laying down and fell asleep listening to the birds chirping with the warm breeze around me. This hammock is so comfortable it’s unreal. I took a solid 45 minute nap the first day and can’t wait to lay down and rest in it for the summer up at camp tomorrow and next day etc. Definitely a must have. One of the best purchases I’ve made!

This was a gift for the Summer! The packaging is excellent and I was able to put this all together in minutes. It is solid so I know this will be with me for a long time. I can always change the hammock in the future. All the pieces were easy to take apart and put in the bag which is also solid. Two hints, I have very dry hands so if you are like that then I would recommend some latex gloves to align the holes AND I would use mallet (NOT a hammer) to push the parts together. I already have a "hack" improvement for this so hope to post the picture later. Also, the hammock hook can be adjusted so if you have a gifted hammock laying around like I do, then you can adjust and add.

For the price, I was actually thinking I would get something a little less sturdy. I’m happy I was wrong. Easy assembly and quite comfortable, too. I found another fabric hammock that fits the frame well, so I’m assuming it’s a standard size, which is good to know if I ever need a replacement.

This is the third hammock of this kind I’ve purchased. I got one for myself, one for my mom (who loves hers) and then this one to replace the canvas hammock from my first one, which had some mildew spots after several years of use and leaving it outside in all kinds of New England weather. It ended up being more affordable to buy a while new hammock and frame than hammock alone. But now I have two and for me, more is more. I have one on the deck and one in the yard and I’m living the dream. Don’t hesitate, this is the hammock you want to nap in, read in, while away your summer in.

Quick set up - less than 15 mins from opening the package to sitting and rocking. hammock is comfy and feels strong - but thin and wraps around you. If that is the feel you want, you will be happy. Easy to sit in and I look forward to many naps in it.

This is an excellent hammock. It is easy to put together and take down, and very comfortable. I already had a hammock stand for a parachute camping hammock but we use it so much I needed another. At first I was skeptical that I would like the cotton as much as the parachute hammock (since it’s so light and comfortable on hot days), but I love this hammock more! Part of why I purchased this stand is because it included a hammock in the price, which saved me purchasing a new one. The stand is sturdy and does not blow over when the wind catches the hammock. I would definitely purchase again if I need another in the future!

I decided to purchase this hammock with stand as a wedding gift for my wife. It was super easy to set up and the textiles of the hammock are very soft and durable. It got wet one night and I hung it in the garage for about a day and it dried right out. 5/5!
