This thing is amazing! I've bought 3 of them and want 2 more. So absorbent...nothing has soaked through to my toddler's bed. Such a must have for parents! I take one on vacation with us too just in case we have an accident. At home I layer the bed. I do waterproof mattress pad, then one of these pads, then a sheet, then another one of these pads, then a final top sheet. That way if she has an accident in the night, I just whip off the top sheet and pad, and ready to go is another sheet and pad combo. Such a lifesaver!!!

These pads, so far, do the trick, at least for lesser accidents, and keep the bed linens clean and dry. Washed in luke warm water and air dried for best results. Only issue is if you have a restless sleeper, it will scrunch up especially if the edges are caught while the sleeper is tossing and turning.

Excellent protection in a large coverage area. Nothing gets through this pad but because of the thickness it is not easily washed and the two layers once washed tend not to lie as flat as when purchased. I still think it is a very good product for intended use.

Now I have the nightly pee done on the pads and wash the next day and start all over. It doesn't go thru so an easy way to clean up after a pet decides they like spraying there. I bought 4 sets so I take one off throw it in the wash and replace right away with clean ones. I'm washing everyday and they are holding up very nice and no urine odor soaks thru. Keeps my futon mattress like brand new with the protection of these pads.
