Great chair. Only issues dor me waa that it sometimes slip on slippery surfaces like plastic runner or loose rugs. May need to scuff up the wheel nubs to get more friction. Be sure you have adequate tirning radius since the leg rests do not fold in. Still ghink its a great lightweight chair at 28 lb!!

This wheelchair is nicely lightweight and easy to maneuver. It folds up quickly, which makes it much easier to store or load into a car compared to heavier chairs. It has both wheel brakes and handlebar brakes, which is a nice safety feature for the person pushing and the person sitting. The leg rest and footrest are adjustable, so you can dial in a comfortable position. One thing to note is the footrest isn’t removable, only adjustable. For a lightweight, foldable chair, it feels solid and practical for everyday use.

I had an old very old wheelchair that had no trade on the wheels and this is very nice compared to my old one. Just wished that the foot rests came off but other than that it's very nice

My daughter suddenly lost her mobility, so we found ourselves in need of a wheelchair. This Vive Ultra Lightweight Wheelchair has proved to be a dependable and easy to manage option. We had several wheelchairs on loan from friends and family, and most of them were bulky and heavy. This one immediately stood out because it weighs only 28 pounds, which makes a noticeable difference when lifting it into a trunk or carrying it up steps. The built in handles near the arm rests make it easy to pick up. The chair arrives fully assembled, which I appreciated since I had never dealt with wheelchairs before. The seat is not thick or plush, which is expected for a lightweight chair. We added an inexpensive wheelchair cushion and that made longer sitting periods much more comfortable. The 18 inch wide seat and 15-1/2 inch depth work well for most adults. My daughter can wheel herself easily or I can also push her when needed. We both have access to brakes whether she is using it manually or I am using it in transport mode. The footrests pivot up and down but do not remove. Some people prefer removable footrests, but I like that these stay attached because it means fewer loose parts to manage. The tradeoff is that the footrest section sticks out and cannot fold inward, so you need to account for that when storing or transporting the wheelchair. Folding and unfolding the wheelchair is fast and easy. The sides push inward to collapse the frame and the backrest folds down if you need it to be more compact. For a temporary mobility need or for anyone who wants a lighter chair that is easier to transport, this is a good option.

I got this wheelchair for my father in law, and it has worked well for his needs. He’s a fairly big man, so I was glad to see that the chair feels sturdy and supportive when he uses it. What I like most is how easy this wheelchair is to handle. It’s very light so pushing it or folding it up isn’t a hassle at all. The materials feel durable and the wheels roll nice and smooth, which makes it easier when moving across different floors.
