Easy to put foot rests on and take them off. Used it for my dad to get through the airport on a recent flight. Came in handy! Folded up and flight crew was able to store it in the closet on the plane as opposed to having to gate check it. It's 48 lbs - so it is a little hard for me to get in and out of the car, but I managed. The only issue I see is that when you put brakes on - it leaves a dent in the tires. Now we have multiple dents only after a few uses. I can see having to possibly change wheels in the future - not sure if I can even buy new wheels when needed or would I have to get a whole new chair? I guess I'll worry about that later on. It did do the job and now we will be using it again this weekend for another trip. Definitely a good purchase. My dad also says the wide seat was comfortable (as opposed to the regular size chair seats which are small for him). I wish that the folded dimensions were also listed on the description (as I needed that when I contacted the airlines to get permission to use this chair) Edit - I forgot - I did reach out and ask a question about the folded dimensions prior to purchasing ( I bought it a month ago and couldn't remember) and a representative got back to me right away. I just located the message and for anyone wondering - the folded dimensions are: 35" long x 10.5" wide x 36" high
