I use this metal in my gardens to reinforce and edge wooden raised beds. I also use aluminum in my craft room for various projects. I had just used the last bit and this roll arrived at the right time. Now I have plenty of this versatile material to use. Of course this roll will also work great as roof flashing. This roll of metal came tied and packed very well in a nice heavy box to protect it from scratching or bending at all on the edges. It came with some screws and a pair of blue protective gloves to use when handling this sharp metal. Quality of this is the same as what I would get at the local home improvement, only it’s cleaner, and not mishandled and bent. The gloves and screws make it a reasonable value. I’m very happy with the product.

Looks to be the same thickness that I have used before. Easy to work with. The product comes with gloves that are stretchable and breathable on the backside and a rubber coating on the front side.

This is 0.3mm, which is equivalent to 29-30 gauge. This is on par with the name brands I'm familiar with. It has the same bendability, workability, reflective color, and overall quality that I'm accustomed to for standard duty flashing. It is easy to use, and the included gloves are a nice gesture because the edges are sharp. Again, sharp edges are standard for a product like this. However, the gloves were too small for me -- I'm a 6 foot tall male with XL glove size. These gloves are a one-size-fits-most, ideal for sizes medium to large. Please keep in mind this is standard aluminum material, not galvanized steel. The overall value doesn't really impress me, as it doesn't offer any advantages over name brand options.

I wasn't sure about ordering flashing online, figuring it might show up and be paper thin. Fortunately, this flashing is just the right thickness, like all the flashing I've ever used. I bent a corner in one photo so you could see that it bends easily and holds its shape -- neither too rigid nor too flimsy. It's truly 6 inches, as stated, and even comes with gloves and screws (though if you're like me, you've got plenty of those). It's competitively priced, but you don't have to worry that "you get what you pay for" and that the savings means a lesser product. I'm quite happy with the quality.

I have a small roof project coming up and saw this so I ordered it because it looked like a good deal. I have not opened the roll yet but I can tell from the weight of it that the quality is comparable to other flashing products I've used over the years. It is .3 mm thickness. I realized after receiving it that the product description does show it with a pair of gloves but I did not realize free gloves come with it. That makes it feel to me like it is a good value for the money. The color is bright aluminum. This should function perfectly to complete the step flashing I need to do.

Overall a good piece of aluminum flashing. The quality appears to be good. Almost a little too thick for what I need to use it for. I am wrapping a post (4x4) with this flashing and because it is heavy duty makes it a challenge to install. The amount you receive for the cost is pretty fair.
