These do not smell as bad as I thought they would. Although, I do wash my hands after handling because of a faint smell and the fact that they are frozen raw. Not bad at all. Great quality. Looks like a frozen minnow, lol what more is there to say. The size is perfect for adult cats and dogs alike. I bought these for my two kittens but they stick up their noses and run away. Who knew that my big, lazy bloodhound would get soooooo excited once this bag comes out of the cabinet. He barely can stay sitting until he gets the treat. Absolutely loves them!!!!

I have a picky little dachshund who doesn't necessarily like every treat he is offered...but he goes WILD for these!! They have a strong scent so I can see why they get him so excited. I like that they are a natural treat that is better for our precious pups. He's only 12 lbs so sometimes I break one into smaller bits, which make them last even longer.

I originally bought the smaller package marketed to cats but this bigger bag is more cost effective and seems to be the same product. Initially, my cat was a bit unsure of what this new treat was and tentatively sniffed and licked one. I left it out and once it disappeared I knew he liked them. Now he’s always excited during treat time to get his minnows, even chews up the snack box when he’s extra eager. The minnows are usually about 2inches big and surprisingly they are usually fully intact when they arrive and not crushed into little pieces despite shipping. I like that these are literally just freeze dried minnows so it’s a really good source of protein and a whole food for your pet.

My dog lovessss these! They are what I would consider a "high value" treat due to the price and how my dog reacts to them. All I have to do is shake the bag and he comes running. I've even used them when walking him off-leash and he has yet run off to sniff something interesting. These treats have him in a chokehold! They do have a pungent smell, which I believe adds to the allure. The price point is high, but used sparingly for training I think they are perfect for the function they provide.

I recently introduced my dogs to raw beef liver treats, and the results have been pawsitively amazing! My furry friends absolutely adore them, and I couldn't be happier with these treats. One of the things that pleasantly surprised me was that these treats do not smell like liver. Many liver-based treats can have quite an overpowering odor, but not these. It's a win-win situation – my dogs get to enjoy the delicious taste of liver, and I don't have to deal with an unpleasant smell in my home. On the flip side, the only minor drawback I've found is that these treats are relatively big, which makes them less ideal for training purposes. However, this is a minor inconvenience in comparison to all the benefits they offer. In summary, raw beef liver treats have won the hearts of my four-legged companions, and the fact that they're not overwhelmingly smelly is a huge plus. While they may not be the best choice for training due to their size, they're an excellent choice for a tasty and wholesome reward for your pups.

However, one must be careful as they will manipulate whatever system and if they can open cabinets and doors, these will become targets. The cats even like it and “finish it off” them before dragging their prize to a secret location to enjoy.

Wow, I didn't expect my cats to love these as much as they did! One of them is kind of a picky eater, so I was so happy he enjoyed these! They're single ingredient too, which is exactly what I was looking for. If you're feeding them to cats, I would definitely recommend breaking them up a bit to ensure there's no possible choking hazard. It's easiest if you crush it first- either between your hands or by pressing it on the counter, then it breaks apart struggle-free.
