Love this bike. My wife and daughter have ridden it many times already. I finally have riding partners in the evening. Haha. Battery removes easily (after quick-release removal of seat) if you like to charge outside of bike. Pedal assist (PAS) works great in the 5 levels. I was able to easily program a max speed (governor) per owners manual so that my girls don't go too fast - which I can adjust later as needed. Very stylish - everybody comments on the off white matte color. Only gripe on the matte paint is that without the clearcoat it does tend to stain (grease) easily. Quality brand name Shimano components 7speed. Love the front rack. Love the tan grips/seat combo. Love the black rims with white lettering on tires (gives it the 80's race feel). Nice bike for the money, however we did have some issues, and needed to contact customer service, they were easy to deal with and answered our concerns right away. The problem I was having is ghost pedaling when using pedal assist..and shimano shifter having to stay at 7 and still not hard enough, so we emailed customer service, and they suggested adjusting the pedal assist through the display, it helped some, but didn’t cure the problem all the way, so after doing some research online we decided to purchase and install a larger front sprocket and it made a huge difference and solved the problem..Bummer that it costed an additional $60.00 for parts to fix it..but after contacting the sellers customer service..they reimbursed us for the cost of parts. ... show more

    • Put it together yesterday. Easy enough and the college kid was riding in less than 2 hours.

The bike went together well, and the college kid was riding it in no time. The battery is a little sticky to take out. But a sharp yank (once the key is in the right position) did the trick. I like how the seat snaps out of the way to make the battery easier to get to. The seat neck clamp was originally positioned in a way that the batter could not come out, but I used a hammer to pop that off and put it back on in a different angle to fix that problem. ... show more

I am enjoying this bike so much right now, even named her Byrdie cuz she makes me feel free as a bird, luckily i live near some great paved bike trails and have been getting to explore soley because of the brillant pedal assist. If your plus size, you might need to get a wider bike seat (which is understandable) but other then it really is a great bike at a really affordable price. (Side note when it first arrived it had a slight dent and scratch in the front fender, I told customer service and they shipped a new one asap! so A+ on the customer service side as well.) ... show more
