Seemed to be packaged well. Out of the box the cartridge was too far away from the (extremely cheap plastic) platter to actually play a record. The tonearm mechanism is super cheap and non-adjustable. I had to physically bend and torque on it to get it to actually play a record. Which is unfortunate, because it sounds pretty good once I got it to work (but only with records that are essentially perfect, any tiny warp seems to be a no-go). It sounds good over Bluetooth too. They need to upgrade the tonearm massively, and a better platter would be appreciated too.

I have waited to write this review because the record player did not work exactly as it should and we were waiting to resolve the issue but it never did. The record player is very pretty. I love that it comes with speakers and basically everything you need to get started. I felt it was a really good player for beginners. But we had some issues. Right out of the box the speakers did not work properly. We had to cross wires them for them to play at the same level. Basically one of the speakers’ volume was much lower than the other. However, using the Bluetooth we had no problems, so I’m guessing the problem is with the needle not the speakers necessarily. We contacted Amazon and also costumer service for the seller and they replied to us via message and requested our address to send a replacement. Well it’s been months and we never got any word or any replacement. No attempt to even send a new part to fix the issue. We ended up buying a more expensive, top of the line record player to replace this one. I felt like it had so much potential and for the price it I hope it would work better. The player is also very sensitive. So if you play a nice, thick, flat, clean record then you have no issues. But if there is any dirt or warping on the vinyl then it skips and it’s very frustrating. Some people said to use a weight or a coin but that can scratch the vinyl so have to be careful. The sound quality was actually pretty good in my opinion, I thought it sounded great. It was also simple and easy to operate. And it look very nice in our family room. I really had high hopes for this player. I think it can be a good product. We just got a defective one and costumer service was not helpful. I don’t know if I would buy it again. I think sound wise is better than those little briefcase ones for sure. But I couldn’t get past the skipping.

The media could not be loaded. this is my first time ever buying a record player and when i got this all set up the songs seemed to be stuck at the same spot on loop. i dont how to fix this issue or if its just completly unfixable.

Was so excited to get a turntable with external speakers...got it all setup and no sound. Found that one wire was a bit lose, made sure everything was tight - turned it on...and then turned the volume up as high as it would go...could barely hear anything. Only one needle was provided. Kept trying to get the needle connected as we could hear that it was trying to make sound. The needle just felt too loose in the connection. Then husband found that there is a tiny clip you have to get the needle into and then could hear it click into place. So, would give it five stars, nice little turntable and small speakers to listen to all the older albums we have been finding. But...that darn needle was tricky...need to figure a better way to get it connected. And send a 2nd needle cause if this one ever breaks, the whole thing would not work.

While this is a pretty decent looking/sounding record player we are not 100% happy with it. Our first issues was removing the needle protective cover and the whole assembly came with it, not a huge deal. The second was the speakers wires we needed to recut them because when cut at factory they just wouldn't play any sound, we tried it on our stereo system and no sound on it either, but like I said recutting the wires solved the issues. Find it crazy this day and age I can use bluetooth on the speaker/record player but cannot stream the record player to another device such as headphones or a Bose speaker. Overall we don't really use it that much as there is not a significant contrast in sound quality between streaming the music or using the vinyl record player.
