This clock replaced a clock I have had on my mantle for 3 years. I dropped the old one and broke the glass when I was decorating for Christmas. This one does not have a glass face. It is very easy to read, looks very pretty on my mantle and does not make that annoying ticking sound.

battery clips broke and cannot insert battery. We have been trying to get big clock store to respond to phone calls. If I knew which mechanism is used in my clock I would order from Amazon.

Love this clock!!! -- we get lots of compliments on it. It has been up and running for two weeks and the time is still dead-on accurate. Delivery time was reasonable and the packaging job was superior, The workmanship is excellent and the finish on the face is perfect -- so many cheaper clocks have paper faces and are not durable over time (see what I did there?) It is very quiet, and very smooth. I did glue a couple of rubber bumpers along the bottom edge to hold it off the wall a half-inch so it looks right from a sideview angle.     • Does Anybody Know What Time It Is?

I had been searching for a long time for something to hang on our mantle-less, stone fireplace. Some pictures would blend in too much with the darker stone and others just looked out of scale to the fireplace. I took a chance and ordered the 30 inch clock. When I opened the box, I immediately loved the look of the clock and the color was perfect. Sturdy and well made. Hubby was skeptical about a big clock keeping good time and at first, I was worried he was right. After putting in the battery we waited to see how accurate the time would be. To my initial disappointment, it appeared to be keeping horrible time. I thought of what a pain it was going to be to return this thing. We then noticed that the hands were kind of hitting each other (probably from how they were packed.) So after gently separating and adjusting them, it's now keeping excellent time and looks great in our family room. ... show more

Advertised as barn wood but appears to be fake. Cheap print job. Seems to keep good time at least for now. Too expensive for the size and quality. Would not buy again.
