Perfect summer toy for toddlers. My 1 year old used this daily

  • Great for toddlers and biggies!
Style: Fine
This water table is a huge hit with my kids! It's hard for me to find an activity that entertains them both, as they are 6 yrs apart. My 20 month old and 8 yr old play with this for hrs a day. We are currently under a stay at home order so I've been looking for ways to keep them busy and off the TV. My 8 yr old and I assembled it, all you need is a Philips head screwdriver for the spiral. I also ended up using a butter knife to work the lower flange of the drain plug into its prior place, under the table. There are no leaks from the drain plug area once you get the flange in the right place. The kids LOVE the balls and the spiral tower. It does leak a bit of water from underneath the spiral tower, but only when my son floods the tower with buckets of water. It's not a big deal bc he puts a bucket directly under the tower, collects the lost water and dumps it back in. To keep my 8 yr old more engaged I also purchased tablets that dye the water; he likes mixing them and seeing what colors he can create. That keeps him super interested and he's learning as well. The ferris wheel is a little janky and you have to hold it in place when you crank it or else it slips out of the pocket it sits in. My husband said he can easily fix that by bolting it in. The balls squirt water so I'll probably end up ditching them since they can get moldly but not before I find a replacement because they love sending them down the spiral tower. This was a good price/value; to be honest this is likely the most used toy I've ever bought! It has a couple issues but I've pretty much come to expect that when I buy plastic stuff from China. The pros outweigh the cons! ... show more

  • Fun for the kids
Style: Fine
I bought this for my 10 month old that is walking solid. Hes a little short to put the balls in the top and doesn't really understand how to work the parts yet but his older sibilings (6 and 8) are helping him and even they are enjoying it! Will be nice for him to have it for a while and grow into. Definitely could be fun for hours if allowed. They even played with it before water was put in. It was really easy and quick to put together. The plastic isnt cheap nor flimsy. Came complete and nothing was missing. I would highly recommend this activity table ... show more

  • My kids’ favorite outdoor toy
Style: Fine
I have two preschool aged girls. This is their favorite thing to play with outside. We’ve had this for a couple years. Here are some notes I’ve taken on it overall: 1 It has held up very well overall, but I also care for it well. It gets emptied after very use and put into the garage at night and during the winter. 2. My littlest one was able to play with it by about 6 or 7 months old, as soon as she could pull herself up on her feet. Being able to splash her hands in the water and grab her toys was great to her at that age. Once they could reach (between 1.5 yr and 2 yr old), they enjoyed dropping balls down the center tube. 3. Putting it together was pretty easy. It took a little over 15 minutes or so. But this does not come back apart easily and doesn’t collapse or anything for storage. 4. My girls at age 4 still love playing with this, both just for splashing and moving balls around or for pretend mixing and cooking, etc. It’s also nice to use for creative activities such as ice cube experiments and colored water mixing. 5. I wish the bottom didn’t have the texture it does because if it gets grimey, that means I’ve got to get all around the bumps when cleaning. However, overall it cleans fairly easily. 6. The balls it comes with are mostly junk. They are squirty so you have to watch out for mildew buildup. I feel like that was an unnecessary feature. Regardless, some of them are really stiff and very difficult to squeeze (even for me) to fill up while others are easily squeezed. These differences really confused and irritated my kids. 7. The crank on the side that holds balls or, if spun hard enough, splashes water out, is fun and attractive to the kids. The piece that looks like a sideways water wheel doesn’t seem to do much and I felt could have been made into a more useful or creative feature. 8. The center tube is big enough for the balls to get down but not much wider. I’ve had the girls drop random stuff in (rocks, animal squirters, etc.) and get stuck multiple times. I’ve been able to get everything back out with my little hands and some hard work. You can unscrew it to open the thing, but it isn’t just an easy task to get at the middle of the tube if objects are stuck. 9. For the price, you can’t ask for more. Overall we’ve gotten our money’s worth times ten. I’ve liked this enough to purchase it as a gift for others. Would definitely buy this all over again. Beware I have noticed this cheaper ($35ish) on other sites but occasionally amazon lowers the price too. 10. It does leak some water from the center but water is going everywhere with kids playing so I haven’t found this to be a big deal. 11. My kids have hung on and pulled on the center tube while trying to reach up high. It hasn’t broken or cracked but I could see if the kid was really rough with it there might be a problem. I’ve included pictures of my 7 month old and an 18 month old next to it for size comparisons. ... show more

  • Fun little water table for littles!
Style: Fine
I bought this when it was 50% off and I definitely feel it is worth it at that price. It’s a small water table with enough activities to keep a toddler engaged. I threw in a few more water toys for my son to add variety. He will play with this table for 30 minutes to an hour easy without getting bored. Usually only stops because he’s dumped all the water out! He loves pouring water into the top part and throwing balls in too. I wouldn’t say this table is the best for older children. My son is only two, average height and you can see in the picture he’s already taller than the table. My negatives are the table doesn’t offer a huge variety so some kids may bore easily and it is small. That’s why I don’t feel it is worth the market price. Personally I’d wait for a sale. Also like others have said - none of the pieces lock in place. It is very easy for kids to pull off the side pieces and the middle piece. My son has knocked it off once pretty easily. ... show more

  • You Need to Buy this Water Play Table
Style: Fine
The media could not be loaded. The Little Tikes Water Play Table has been an absolute hit in our household. My daughter has loved it since she got it when she turned one and it's been a staple in her backyard playtime ever since. Not only does she love it, but all her friends do too! We had it at her 2nd birthday party and it was just as popular as the bouncy castle! The variety of spinning items keeps them entertained and the ball toss feature adds an extra level of fun and excitement. It's durable, easy to clean, and provides endless entertainment for toddlers. This is a must-have backyard toy for the summer! Highly recommend! ... show more
