About two years ago, my family bought me an office chair the claimed it had a high weight capacity but it wasn't until the chair arrived that it was not the case. Not having the money for a better one and to not seem ungrateful, I used that chair. Every time I sat in it or so much as moved it made an awful creaking noise like it was about to give way under me. The wheels would scratch up the our hardwood floors. Also the seat had developed a lean to one side. The breaking point for me was when I leaned a bit back in that chair and nearly fell back out of it. I've had this Vinsetto chair for nearly a month and so far there have been no such concerns.     • Sturdy but one thing bothers me

Chair is sturdy and I have no complaints as far as build quality is concerned, however, the one complaint I do have is that the back plate that connects the back to the seat can be felt protruding through the back's cushion. Some might call this feeling "supportive", for me however, I feel it's a little harsh on my lower back. That being said the chair is comfortable and assembly was straight forward. Edit: So it's actually the screws themselves that are protruding into the cushion, I have solved this by unscrewing them roughly 1/4" out. Having used the correct length screws according to the instructions, provided with the assembly, I am not sure why this is an issue. ... show more

Very easy to assemble. My 16-year-old daughter had it done in less than an hour. Heavy duty construction. I weigh over 400 and this chair fills like a cloud. Excellent value for the money.

Admittedly, I'm a big gal, and I also have a job that requires me sitting at my desk all day. So I needed a chair that is comfortable and that at the end of the day, I could actually stand up and move. Yes, this is a thing. My old chair, I'd get up from it and would just ACHE.... so nothing cutting into the hips, a chair that the cushion is comfy, the lower back supported, etc., win win. Had to tell my son about this one as well.... he's in the same boat. If I had a need, I'd get another. Took me 3 times to find a chair that was comfy, this one is worth it. ... show more

    • Adjustments not so easy to change.

I love the chair, but the tool and instructions to assemble were not so easy to use or understand. I'm not that young anymore so it is difficult to do most anything with my hands., but even my son found the tool difficult to work with and has had to tighten the arms on my chair more than once. I would love it if the chair could sit straight up, instead it leans back in an uncomfortable position for my lower back. The nob to turn is way too difficult to move and there is no clear instructions as to which direction raises the back up instead of further back. So I deal with the position I am stuck with, cause I love the height and that it doesn't just fall down too low like my other chair. ... show more

Ordered 2 chairs, both were defective. The holes for the armrest would not line up to receive the bolt. This was one of the last steps in assembling the chairs so you don’t find out they are defective until the end of the assembly process.
