These candles were the best purchase! One small problem on my set was the battery + and - were backwards. So just switch them around. Easily remedied. Other than that, I used the candles at Halloween and then I used them at Christmas, same batteries, never had to switch them out. For Christmas, they were in my windows. You can leave the On switch on (I did the entire month, from Thanksgiving weekend until New Years). The candles have a remote, you can set them on a timer, up to 8 hours, and you can make them solid or flicker like an actual candle. And you can adjust the brightness as well. At Halloween they looked very haunting and at Christmas they made the house look warm and inviting. But the coolest part I discovered was that when we set the timer, the next day the candles automatically turned themselves back on and off at the same times and I never had to touch them again the whole month! So we had them set to come on about 4 pm and set the 8 hr timer, and they did it on that schedule the entire month of Dec. I was thrilled with them. They also look realistic. The first time my mom saw them, she thought we'd left real candles burning in our windows while we were away from the house. (Yeah...no mom!) So....other than having to switch the batteries around, these are very wonderful and I highly recommend. ... show more

Love the candles. The set comes in various sizes and has a flicker or steady mode. it also has an option to turn off after #hrs. The remote is a plus! I have them outside on my front porch and on a side table. Provides nice ambiance in the room and entryway.

I love them, they work perfectly for my mantel. They're especially lovely at night 🌙 They're made of actual wax which is interesting. They can flicker or be solid light that doesn't move.

This is the best set. I have them set to go on each day at a certain time and go off after a few hours. Lighting adds a nice ambiance to my mantle and table. I love the choice between solid light and candle flicker and slight adjustable brightness. Also many options from 2-8 hours on.

The candles were well worth the money! They are so pretty lit up at night! I love the remote that turns them all on and off. They add such a cozy addition to any room! They were shipped nicely and very easy to set up.

They had a weird look to them, some spots were shiny, and other spots were dull. My fingerprints/hand prints are all easily seen on the candle. Hopefully this won't be noticed when in use. Otherwise, functional and neat, for a black candle
