I was skeptical and a little scared to order this bed at first, but It works just fine. It can fit two people( up to 375 pounds- you could probably get away with 400). I havent had any issues, its a little noisy sometimes and shakes if your moving too much, but it is perfectly safe and secure to sleep on. Take a chance and purchase it! Will save you some money. My daughter wanted a loft bed to put her futon under it. After looking & looking, I found this one...hoping it would work for what we needed and it's perfect! This is one of the few options I found with it being completely open under the bed. Most Full-size loft beds had desks or tables or something built into the bottom part. I needed something completely open. There were other options for full-size loft beds but none in my price range. This was shipped quickly with every little piece to go with it. It is sturdy, but there is a bit of sway, obviously, for the material it is, (metal) but this works for us! ... show more

    • NOT for adults trying to save space! Only for children
This is NOT a stable bed. Well it’s not for adults at least. I’m 160ish and when I lay on the bed it makes tons of squeaking sounds which keep you up at night and make u worry if it’ll collapse as any moment. The metal also sags in the middle so your mattress makes a divot shape. your back hurts in the morning The latter on the side of the bed is nice for going up but going down is a different story, the latter doesn’t actually go all the way down to the ground so if you’re not paying attention to your steps you might just fall. It also super difficult to assemble the platform of the bed if you’re by yourself. you need to put each rods into the side rail holes all at the same time or the other rods will prevent the current rod you’re trying to put in the hole, from going in. On top of that there’s also like 16 rods so good luck. Idk if any of that made sense but just trust me, if you’re not good at building don’t get this bed. Also one of my 4 cross sectional rods that are supposed to have a screw hole in the middle to attach to the middle beam, came with a manufacturing defect and didn’t have a screw hole at all. In conclusion this bed is probably suitable for a 12 year old or less, but not under 8 cause then the ladder becomes too much of a threat. ... show more

I emailed the company with questions and they got back to me immediately. Very good customer service! As for the bed itself, it is doing it’s job. Me and my boyfriend sleep on it together (our weight total < 300 lbs) and the metal doesn’t warp. It has definitely opened up space in my bedroom. It is stable enough to support us two adults, so definitely stable enough for a teen or kid. It was a little difficult to put together but it was mostly user error lol. There is instability in the main frame and support structure. The legs do not feel sturdy and wobble even with minimal movement. The joints and connection points also seem loose, which causes the entire bed to shift and feel unsafe when climbing or laying on it. Additionally, the slats do not sit securely in place, making the mattress feel unsupported. ... show more

    • Great deal for the money
My daughter loves this bed but set up was a pain in the ***!!!! It took several adult men hours getting this thing together. The instructions aren’t great and we ends up having to take it apart to put the support beams back in. The slats are the worst part and it’s at least a 2 person job getting that step done. We don’t account for ceiling fan height before set up but luckily we made that work. Of course that’s our fault, not the bed! Once all set up, the best is quiet for the most part. It is a little wobbly until settlement occurs. My daughter is 15 and we have the full size bed and it’s stable enough to hold her. She loves the space underneath because it made a cool hangout spot for a teen girl. I got a really good deal on this bed and I would buy it again! ... show more
