Perfect for my teen just starting out!
Style: Concert Style Size: With Gig Bag and Accessories Color: Natural
I bought this guitar for my son for Christmas, and it ended up being an even better purchase than I expected. The size is absolutely perfect. Comfortable enough for him to play for long periods without feeling awkward or oversized, but still feels like a quality, full instrument instead of a toy. The sound is great, it stays in tune well, and it’s been perfect for both learning and just casually playing around. He picked it up quickly because the size and feel made it much less intimidating than some larger guitars. Seeing him actually want to practice and carry it around the house has made this gift totally worth it. If you’re looking for a guitar for a teen or beginner, especially one where size and comfort matter, I’d definitely recommend this one. ... show more

Easy action and great sound
Style: Concert Style Size: With Gig Bag and Accessories Color: Natural
Very easy action for beginners and was surprisingly easy to play. The mahogany adds an extra layer of crispiness to the sound that is already of high quality for such a low price point. Great for strumming or picking. This model is the concert size (cc-60s). It’s a bit smaller than a dreadnought but I found it to be more comfortable to play while sitting down. Regardless of its size, you can still get a booming sound out of it and it doesn’t sound too “folk-y” at all. The gig bag does its job well for being a soft carrying case, although it doesn’t have much padding. All of the extra add-ons were great to have as well. Overall an incredible value. ... show more

Perfect beginner guitar (but buy a better strap) Perfect beginner guitar (but buy a better strap)

Review Image by mrsMe
I am an adult beginner and wanted a full sized guitar. I wanted a more comfortable shape and size. I quickly realized the common dreadnought would not be a comfortable fit for me. A family member recommended three decent beginner brands and Fender was one of those. I'm very happy with the guitar. BUY a quality strap as the one this comes with sadly is awful- I got my first ding in the guitar after only a week because the strap twisted off one end. I like the medium Fender picks it came with. I've tried others since, but may stick with the Fender medium for a while. The guitar stays in tune well for a beginner guitar. The case is thin, but I don't care about that. It covers it as needed, but I'm leaving it sitting out. I want it out and read that it is better for beginners to keep it out so it's easy to just pick up and play to get in the habit of frequently playing. If I keep at this and get an upgrade then I'll worry about humidity etc. So, guitar- perfect for beginner, picks -perfect, strap-sucks, case- will do. Buy a good strap. Oh, and it comes with extra strings and needed tools. Great buy! ... show more

No clue whether this is a good guitar or not — I did a ton of research and this seemed like the best for a newby. Bought for my husband so he could learn during Covid and I thought he would cry when he opened it — I’ve never seen him happier with a gift! It looks beautiful, tunes perfectly and he plunks away with no issues right out of the box - but we’re definitely not the ones to say whether it’s good or not. It won’t make you a good guitar player overnight, I can attest to that. 😉 ... show more

I’ve had a guitar since I was 12 and I never properly learned how to play it. I am now 35 and decided I either need to get rid of it or learn to play. I also decided it would be worth it to get an upgrade and a smaller size since my first guitar is a dreadnought I got the concert size. I can’t tell you how great the finish looks it’s very pleasing to look at. It holds its time really well, the neck is slimmer o feel than my previous guitar which makes chords much easier to a man with smaller hands. The saddle was pretty tall, I bought a new one because the action was a bit high not crazy but higher than I wanted. The frets don’t have any burrs and the neck looks great. I’m knocking one star for the nut, bridge and pegs since they are all plastic and seem pretty cheap. When I decide to put on new strings I’ll probably change the nut and the bridge pegs too. Overall though, it’s a great I instrument for the price! ... show more

Fender - Good small body guitar sounds good plays good
Style: Concert Style Size: With Gig Bag and Accessories Color: Black
Nice guitar Fender has best beginner guitars to the top of the line guitars if your just a beginner get A Fender low budget guitar you will feel the playing difference and hear the sound difference don't short yourself with other cheap guitars you will have hard time playing them hard to push strings down and the sound is junk. So get you a Fender Taylor Gibson but get a brand name you will be glad you did. Yhanks hope this helps ... show more

Great for the price.
Style: Concert Style Size: With Gig Bag and Accessories Color: Natural
Great guitar and tones. I bought this for something I can bring outside and be more of a beater guitar but I like it too much. Very impressive construction. Only recommends would be to change the strings but that’s subjective and change the nut, saddle and pegs to bone and you would have a outstanding guitar ... show more

One of the best
Style: Concert Style Size: With Gig Bag and Accessories Color: Black
I've been after a particular sound — and have tried so many acoustics in the past several months. Some honorable mentions are: Yamaha FG830, Epiphone DR100, Orangewood Oliver Mahogany or Spruce... but this Fender is my favorite. It's the perfect balance between tone, resonance and volume. Perfectly loud for its size, sustains forever, nice and bright, but not too bright like the Yamaha. Nice construction, not a single flaw anywhere. Hard to believe you could have scored one of these for as little as 129 about nine months ago. Even 199 is a bargain. This one has that sound I was looking for — it's a keeper. ... show more
