Is an absolute pain in the ass to build and you’ll want two people to help out the drawers in but it’s gorgeous and def useful! It holds literally SO MANY shoes!!!! Even my husbands shoes and he has big feet! Super sturdy and doesn’t wiggle around at all so don’t have to worry about it falling! TLDR: Slim shoe cabinet with modern design, perfect for narrow entryways. Inside is more spacious than it looks. Mostly easy to build solo but extra hands are helpful towards the end. What I liked: What first drew me in was the fluted design and light oak color. Turns out the listing photos are accurate. It is exactly what I envisioned for my entryway. The slim and tall dimensions are perfect for my space. The pieces were packed well and all hardware were present. Directions were easy to follow and I built it on my own. It was pretty easy except for one of the last steps but I did it! I’m able to get 17 pairs of shoes (women’s 6-6.5) inside. This cabinet has really made my entryway neater and more functional. My shoes are organized inside instead of all over the floor! Closed storage looks much better than open storage. I like that top has a border on three sides to minimize anything sliding off the top. I think I did a good job building it and it seems sturdy. What could be better: I couldn’t be happier with this cabinet! It’s everything I wanted! Fit/size: I ordered the 2 drawer size even though I debated on getting the 4 drawer. The 2 drawer gives me the storage I need without overwhelming the narrow wall in my entryway. This allowed me to put wall hooks and a soft stool next to it. Durability/maintenance: I think this is going to be fine, just needs some occasional dusting and double checking the screw’s tightness over time. Would I recommend: Yes! This is best for someone who wants a West Elm look on a budget. Someone who needs clean looking shoe storage with a modern design. About my photos/video: Photos show the cabinet in my space with daylight and night time lighting. It also shows what I could fit into the cabinet for my spring/summer shoe line up. ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ **Looks great and good value for the price** I’ve been using the VINGLI Fluted Shoe Cabinet Storage in my entryway and overall I’m really happy with it. It has a clean, modern look that instantly made the space feel more organized and less cluttered. The cabinet feels pretty sturdy once it’s fully assembled, and it holds up well for everyday use. The flip drawers are easy to open and work well for most of my shoes, and it fits a good amount without taking up much space. For the price, it honestly feels like a really solid deal. That said, assembly was a bit tricky and took longer than expected because the instructions weren’t super clear. Also, if you have bulkier shoes, they can sometimes shift a bit when opening the drawers. Easy enough to put together. It looks very cute. Size is nice and it holds a lot of shoes. But the construction of the doors is incredibly flimsy. You also definitely need to attach to the wall behind it to keep it from falling over when you open it.

Building the shoe cabinet was not the easiest thing to do. I’d highly recommend using an electric Phillips screwdriver and wood glue to keep it together. The metal footing needs to be placed properly so I had flipped the cabinet upside down to place it on over the holes to screw them into. To make sure the placement was correct then screwed it in and then attached all the pieces onto it. The plastic pieces to install the doors were not easy to install. You need to lay it on its side, then screw it in throw the back with a Phillips screwdriver. Then use some painters tape to tape the doors down so it doesn’t open when you flip it to the correct side and screw them in with a Phillip screwdriver and then with an electric Phillip screwdriver on both sides. to make sure it is tight. Pointer make sure you are screwing the right way. I made the mistake of not but was able to glue them in and I think this will hold up well. I did place the bottom differently. So I can place slippers under the cabinets. So the long metal rod was placed on the back side instead of the front. ... show more

The shoe cabinet looks even nicer in person. Assembly took a little time, but it’s not difficult — you just need to pay close attention to the instructions. Once finished, it looks great and feels sturdy. I’m very happy with this purchase.

This is genuinely THE HARDEST piece of furniture to put together. I'm not sure that ANY outcome will be worth this. I actually CANNOT believe that no one else is really saying this? I literally paused my work so far putting this thing together (maybe 2+ hours in so far) to write this review. If you do not have a toolkit, GOOD LUCK! I don't see how you could put this thing together without additional tools. I will say it looks good so far but the instructions are not amazing, some of the pieces still feel wiggly, there are things that don't fit where they should.. I don't know if I got a faulty one and I have yet to use this, and so far it does look great in my space, but this is genuinely the hardest thing I've ever put together and you DEFINITELY need two people to do it. I have to wait for my husband to get home to finish it which super annoys me. I also have super raw, callused hands from this entire experience WHICH SUCKS!!!!!!!! ... show more
