I have done a lot of assembling of kits like this lately and I will tell you that none of them are done as well as this (one other was very close). Those shafts you usually screw in for kits like this that have a locking piece in the attaching board...well for these you don't just screw those into cheap particle board. Each of these are threading into a threaded insert which is already in the wood and painted over. There is also a few redundancies in place. You will attach them with one of these locking items and then also there will be an L bracket as well. This really helps with the strength of this once built. I have done many of these types of things in my life and while it does take some time to put it together, you will appreciate it a decade or more later when it is as solid as first built. This took be a little under 3 hours to do it myself. I really have only two complaints about this...and one is just my style. I replaced the handles with Black handles which match what I have put in the house...and because I felt Black would look better on this than the chrome ones that it came with...but this is a me thing. The other complaint I had was with the installation of the fireplace. The instructions say to use the hardware provided with the actual fireplace unit (Box 3)...but there was no instructions in the fireplace box or the Entertainment center boxes on how to actually install it. I think I figured it out and what I did is indeed solid...but I also just renovated half my house and hand built my own cabinets/doors so I am not your run of the mill kit buyer. For me and someone at my level I still would give this 5 or more stars though as it looks so great and is so structurally sound. Those things make it well worth buying and assembling versus building myself.

I did not have the recommended two people to build my item, it took me much longer then the estimated time. This lady when step by step and it looks beautiful! Now the drawback...the real wood holes on tops of the side shelves the holes were too tight. I had to pound the locking nut into the hole, then it really didn't want to turn to lock onto the pins. I have yet to plug the heater into the wall, because I am slowly dismantling the furniture piece that was in that spot, with all the TV stereo wires so it all functions. I would recommend this piece to anyone from nice it turned out!

The two ends broke on me. I reached out to the company and they have not contacted me as of yet and that's been a few months so I guess it's safe to say they don't intend to make the wrong right. The top part of each end broke, so I have them just sitting on top. This cost to much for that and if it weren't costly I would have sent it back. However, I will never buy anything else from this company and I will make sure ALL family members and friends follow suit.

This fireplace came in 2 boxes, same day. Instructions are eh decent. I'm not a super skilled or experienced person. It took me probably about 6 hours total to do this. It feels very sturdy, the left side top had kind of a crack though. Rather than make a fuss about it I left it alone. Some wood glue will probably fix it. I can't imagine taking it apart now to return or anything. I love the craftsmanship of the design on front. It's beautiful. It's the perfect size for my t.v which I think is a 55inch. I needed the legs to fit on the top and it fits just perfectly. The fireplace has a remote, I don't really use but it's pretty standard and works just fine. Seems simpler to lean over and turn it on from the front. It has a lot of options for the look of the flames. My kids like to pick them out! With the price, I would have liked it to not be cracked, and the directions to be a little easier to read. There was a lot of hardware. But it's beautiful!

The fireplace is well-made and fairly easy to put together. It begins to heat the room as soon as you turn it on. It is the perfect height to hide cords for a wall-mounted tv.

The media could not be loaded. My wall is 162 inches long or 13 feet long and I needed a sturdy and durable fire place with height. I waited to find a good fit for my large wall that wouldn't look silly but gave me room to put other items on the side. As you can see it has the TV which is 55 inches and sits nice in the middle as I like things centered and In their proper place. I used blue wall tape to make the shape and size of each item to ensure it was centered. If you like bigger tvs then it might look even nicer. The actual fire place is white wood heavy stuff and measures 79 inches wide and 42 inches tall. I have not found a better deal for the size in any store or website. They shipped everything in 3 boxes and the fire place came first and the screen comes separately about one day later. It took me and my partner about 3 hours because I read carefully and make sure to understand step by step, but a person with no patience or experience can go a lot faster and mess up along the way. I would suggest doing it on a day where your kid won't ask many questions or touch anything !! and your partner has patience if you are like me, who likes to micro manage. The hardest part was figuring out how to mount the fire screen but it's not hard once you stare at the picture for a few minutes. I loved the final look and I look forward to decorating as the seasons change. I recommend for anyone and everyone it's super nice even more in person.

Exactly as the picture, runs small, I wish it was bigger. Fire seatings are great! Looks a bit cheap, not the value for the money I feel like it should be cheaper since it looks a bit cheap, color is good, heat works, took over 2 hours to assemble since it was missing some things and part broke easily.
