The fabric is soft and is the exact color (gray) as pictured. Comfortable and roomy seating and very sturdy. It requires assembly, which was a simple process; the instructions were easy to follow and all the parts were included (always a plus). One thing to note, the back of the chair is not like your typical and more expensive chair. The back is a covered, metal frame with a suitable 5" thick cushion. For the price, it is a very good deal. It's a simple design and fits perfectly in my office. (Cushions come in airtight packaging and take awhile to return to normal size, so please excuse the wrinkles in the pics.) ... show more

I did run an iron over cushions for a more finished, store bought look. They are aren't lounge around and sit all day chairs but are a good size for guests to sit. I'm 6' and found them comfortable. Ok so I do love this chair. The size is great and it looks great. The thing is that it stinks! I’ve let it air out but the smell is awful. It’s like a chemical cat pee smell. I don’t know if I received a defect or if that’s how it smells because of the packaging. I sprayed heavily with Fabreeze, hope it helps. These chairs are beautiful and comfortable! Only problem is whoever designed the stickers and where to place them did a bad job. The sticker was so hard to get off and left a mark right on the front side of the chair:( I will have to try some stain remover!
