Super easy to put together and for under $100, it is a great addition to our patio. Other reviewers mentioned rusting, so I purchased clear rust protector and sprayed a light coat on the bench.

We received this item on May 27th. As of today (June 16th) it’s rusty all over. Extremely disappointed in this. It’s rusty on the handles where there is no connection or welding. The back where you lean is all rusty.

I liked that it arrived very quickly, first off. But the best part about this item is, although it may look heavy it's not. I think it's close to 9 lbs. And it's so easy to assemble. They provide the tools needed to assemble and all the hardware to assemble. Very easy directions, one person can put this together. My husband put it together in about 15 minutes. And as you can see the finished product is beautiful. Very sturdy and decorative on our front lawn. I will be adding an indoor/outdoor cushion for the seat just for color and comfort, however, if you keep it bare it's still comfortable to sit on. Highly Recommended!! ... show more

The bench is beautiful, love the design but it does look cheaply made. It is easy to assemble but needs 2 persons to do it. It is lightweight and not really sturdy. It rusts very fast. If you want to leave the bench outside all year long this is not the one

I live on a lake an put it outside under trees. Good idea to completely spray it with a Clear Coat. Mostly, it is aluminum, but the nuts and bolts and the design of the back rest is steel and iron. Will rust without an annual coat of Clear Coat Spray. My wife and I weight to much, and it is sufficient for both of us at the same time. Very light. I bought 2 dog augers from Harbour Freight to anchor the bench with bungee cords. A strong wind will cause it to go airborne. ... show more

I bought one of these and liked it so much I decided to buy another. It was easy to assemble...though the instructions that came with it were horrible. It probably took 20 minutes to assemble, but should have taken half of that. In any case, it's more or less common sense once you figure out which direction the bench seat goes. The actual bench is very sturdy and there were no scratches or areas that looked like they would allow rust. I do plan to use one of these under some trees...so (because of other reviews) I fully expect it to rust...even though it's not supposed to...which is my reason for 4/5 stars. I can give it a quick sanding and repainting if necessary...I just hope not to have to do that very often. We will see. I will update this in a few months when I have a chance to see how it responds to the weather. I'm happy enough with the initial product to buy a second one though. ... show more

3 stars because Box came with no instructions and hardware loose/strewn about. This meant a trip to hardware store to get missing pieces. Otherwise (once I figured out how on my own) assembly was pretty ok, did it by myself. Looks good on my front porch.
