It is made of “cast metal” and arrive nicely packaged very fast. My son put it together in our living room in 20 mins. The instructions were simple & easy to follow. When my yard is complete, I will order a couple more benches from this vendor. I found a seller & ordered a customized outdoor seat cushion for it. Once it arrives, I will update the photos. This is a quality buy at a great price! I love it! My porch is medium sized, the area where I placed it is small. Even so I could turn it horizontal, vertical and diagonal and they all look really good. For now, I went with diagonal.

Very easy to assemble. It’s a solid bench, even though it is not heavy. As other reviewers noted there are a few small places where the paint has chipped off. In my case, this was limited to three tiny spots. Considering the low price, it is a non-issue. It happens to be a comfortable bench. I would recommend this bench.

This bench is exactly as described and is what I needed for a specific area. It is not terribly heavy duty but should be heavy enough so that the wind won't blow it over. Putting it together was not hard.

It does eventually go together, but definite quirks in the assembly process: 1. Includes Allen wrench and all-but-useless flat, stamped-out wrench (get yourself a 14mm socket), but mounting the arms requires a Phillips screwdriver that's not included. ??? Why bother supplying only some of the tools you need? 2. Instructions seem out of order. Would have been easier to mount the back before the legs as the attached legs restrict easy access to the end bolts for the back. 3. Arm holes didn't line up - and not just a tad off. Had to (re)loosen the back to get enough play to line them up, which means the back is no longer squarely seated. 4. Plastic caps to cover the small nuts fit, but the ones to cover the large nuts don't. Maybe if you heat them up and push hard you could force them on(?). I didn't bother. OTHER: 1. There were also a number of minor scratches in the paint - down to the bare metal. Good thing it's aluminum (magnesium?) so it SHOULDN'T rust. 2. Cellophane tape used to wrap the parts was yellowed (from age?). Wonder how long these have been sitting in a warehouse? 3. Has a random number of spare nuts & parts, which I guess is OK, but there's so many you almost wonder if you missed something. Doubt anyone at the factory counted the parts. Looks like they just grabbed a handful from a bin and threw them in the bag. Once assembled, it seems sturdy enough. It does have leveling adjustments on each leg, tho mine was already level out of the box. Time will tell how long it lasts....

Great little bench that adds such ambiance to the garden. The little wrench they give you to assemble is a joke though! Find the right tool and it’ll go together better. I did it myself. The instructions aren’t too clear, but it’s not rocket science. I agree that it’s best to not tighten all the nuts until they’re all on. It’s heavy and sturdy. Yes, there’s a curve in the seat… for you bottom!! I love the clean contemporary design. Get one. Can’t beat it for the price.
