Matches our bistro set we got a few months ago and is sturdy and nice looking. Unfortunately, unlike the bistro set, the screws are starting to rust after one rain. We’ll have to spend some time soon to replace them all. Not sure why these rusted and not the bistro set ones.

The package arrived OK. Once I opened the box I noticed that the hardware package had already been opened. All the hardware seemed to be in there. I was somewhat perplexed by the concave seat. Not sure whether or not this is on purpose or not. Seems to me that sitting on a hard bench with an indentation in the seating would be uncomfortable. Otherwise, the bench seems well made and I liked it. Waiting to hear back from the seller regarding the bench seat. UPDATE: The seller has requested that I completely assemble the bench because they claim they cannot see that the bench seat is not flat. The bench seat was packed on top, so I immediately was able to see that it was curved and did not completely unpack the box. It seems unreasonable for me to completely assemble the bench only to disassemble it to return it. As 4 of the 5 pictures of the backside of the bench seat show the seat is clearly curved. If the backside of the bench is curved, the front side must be concave as the picture of the top of the seat shows. ... show more

BEWARE: Seller describes this bench as "Cast Iron Cast Aluminum" in the general description. It's on me that I didn't corroborate by checking the product WEIGHT in Details. There is absolutely NO cast metal anywhere on this bench. The detailed description states that the bench is constructed of steel. That I believe. But when you purposely seek out cast iron furniture bc your home is located in a high wind area, you at the very least expect the bench to be constructed of the materials stated by the seller! ... show more
