Total guessing game on how the whole mounting piece works, instructions are one page and they tell you nothing. This isn’t my first rodeo with DIYs, I know what I’m doing, but this thing was ridiculous. The fixture itself is easy to assemble and pretty enough. Tape the loose ends of the cord together with some electrical tape before you thread it through the tube. I got it on a Black Friday sale so it was worth it. Love love love this addition to my home. It was very easy to put together and install. I wish it had come with bulbs, but either way I love it. We had to get creative and rig the chain a little because the loop was missing. Luckily I have a pretty good handyman.
