  • Highly recommended for people who do not like problems (headaches) Highly recommended for people who do not like problems (headaches)
Size: 48V 3000VA (UL)
I started with Victron MultiPlus compact and I still have it running some critical loads in my house, running with Tesla batteries. I also have the phoenix inverter and it has been working great, especially with my tube amplifier (prone to HF noise). I never have any issue with their inverters, and they just work and it has been years. It is also working reliably when connected to other Victron inverter. This has been running non-stop with split phase, even when overloaded. It is a bit noisy when the ambient temperature is above 90F. However, I put them in the shed, so it is not a problem. Definitely on the higher side of the price, but they are worth every penny in my use case. I trust Victron as they have proven time and time again they are dependable. ... show more

  • Worth the price......mostly
Size: 48V 3000VA (UL)

  • Amazing!
Size: 48V 3000VA (UL)
It's not perfect, but it's pretty close. Only thing that would make this better would be to get rid of the push in connections and go with ring terminals instead. Much more solid and can be torqued down safely.

  • I think Victron is way too expensive, and is designed to be that way.
Size: 48V 3000VA (UL)
OK, I'm not a Victron customer, yet, or I'm on a fence yet falling away from Victron. Why? Well the cost for one. It seems that to go the Victron way, because ALL solar installers recommend Victron, funny that, at least to me it's funny. The installers and Victron make lots more $$$ for their installs. Fine if the customer has very deep pockets. For my situation, I have a 29ft Travel Trailer that I want to install a 48v system. I'm looking at big panels on my roof and 4 12v 300ah batteries to be my storage. I also plan on replacing the 2 Furrion AC units with 2 48v AC systems from CountryModPro... So my 120vac will not be as big. I plan on installing 3600watts of panels elevated above the tallest thing on my roof, probably the Wingard unit, which I may remove and seal up as I don't use it... Bottom line, I do not think, in the end I will Victron, as, well, I'm not a fanboi and do not have very deep pockets. My budget is about $11k all DIY installed, and Victron, will far exceed my budget quite quickly. Anyway, you pays yer money and you makes yer choice. Be blessed. ... show more

  • If a Cerbo is needed it should be included
Size: 48V 3000VA (UL)
I am planning a new 48v installation and it’s coming down to this or EG4 but this would be a stretch given that I’m definitely using EG4 batteries. As an aside if this requires a Cerbo to configure and monitor then a Cerbo should come with it. I am totally offgrid, I do not otherwise want or need a Cerbo. I only need the Bluetooth BLE advertisements for my existing annunciator solution and the Victron Connect app for configuration. I have lost Victron equipment in the past to nearby lightning strikes in the forest due to non-isolated ve.direct ports. I avoid ve.direct completely. ... show more
