  • High quality!
Color: UK Flag
This was a birthday gift for my 12 year old granddaughter. It was high on her wish list, and didn't disappoint! From my perspective, the quality is excellent, it is well made, colorful, and sturdy. From her perspective, it is easy to use, and she loves the fact she can stream music to it AND play vinyl records. The speakers work very well. The sound quality is quite good and you can turn it way up. I would consider it "easy for beginners", because she is 12 years old, and has no trouble streaming from her phone or using it for vinyl. I'm certainly happy with it because she is happy with it. For me, it was a great buy all the way around. ... show more

  • Looks great. Not great sound (on its own).
Color: UK Flag
Great nostalgic looking piece of equipment. It arrived and I realized I didn’t have any vinyl to play so it sat for a couple weeks and looked awesome! My records arrived and the audio sounds like it’s playing out of a tin can, a great looking, hi-fi tin can. There are right and left RCA jacks on the back so I’ll look into a different output solution. Update 4/13/21: Back with an update and a fourth and fifth star. For the audiophiles, it got a 4th star with me doing some leg work and investing. It has small rubber feet on the carousel but I invested in a real slip mat, RCA cables, a small two-channel tripath amp and some speakers (I butchered a small unit I have for the speakers so no cost). If you already have these you're good to go and this is going to work for you. The sound was good but the needle was skipping like crazy. I'm talking on every album used or new. The 5th star came about 45 minutes in when I remembered what we used to do when I was a kid and got myself a fat shiny quarter and put it on the arm. It's a friggin' record player! Reminded me that there are still some analog solutions out there. Audio is great and it works nicely for the price I paid. ... show more

  • Nice
Color: Retro Map
I found a bunch of old vinyl records packed away and wanted to listen to them and see if they were any good but didn't want to buy an expensive turntable/record player. So I found this Victrola and I am so glad I did. This one is perfect. I have fallen in love with my old music again. It has great sound, looks attractive and I can carry it anywhere to share with family members/friends. It can be hooked up to external speakers, is easy to use and it also has bluetooth as an added feature. All at a fair price. I like it so much, I may buy another one ! Highly recommend. ++++++ ... show more

  • Bluetooth tech needs upgrade!
Color: Tie Dye
It's a very cool portable turntable. I have an overall good collection of vinyl and its great to be able to listen to it again at a very affordable price. That being said, it's bluetooth technology works completely different than what I had imagined. I thought I would be able to connect to a bluetooth speaker. Nope. I can listen to music on the turntable via my phone with their bluetooth connectivity. It's still nice to be able to listen to my vinyl again. ... show more

  • Suitcase Record Player
Color: Tie Dye
This was bought for my son to get him started on vinyl. He is very musical and his range of music taste is fairly large as he skips from Simon and Garfunkle to Benny Goodman to Queen to Russian Electro-pop to Beethoven all in the same afternoon. He choose the tie-dye design because it was the most fun. The colors are clear and vibrant, just as pictured. The case is really nice and solid, decent latches and handle, nothing feels exceptionally cheap or breakable. It is a bit smaller than I thought it would be but it does run 3 speeds and the sound quality is great for a first time player. It is clear and fills the room with a smooth sound. I did not rate the bluetooth, because we haven't used it at all. He very much likes to play the records he has found or been given. The one thing that didn't come with was any extra needles or cleaning supplies for the records/record player. It does have a manual that describes what these items would be however. ... show more

  • REALLY Bad Sound Quality
Color: UK Flag
I really wanted to get the Union Jack printed player for the aesthetic and while it was really cute it was so not worth it. I have a much older Audio Technica model (like so old they don’t make it anymore) and I wanted to give this a try bc I was attracted to the Bluetooth capability. I guess you get what you pay for though. I didn’t expect the built in speakers to be very good but I have a pretty decent soundbar with subwoofers built in and thought I would just let that be my audio output, but even that didn’t help with the sound quality. 1) the sound was warped and tinny 2) I think the spin board itself was warped bc I have never seen a record wobble so much (brand new record mind you) even with a stabilizing weight on it. I’m no audiophile that has spent thousands on this. I just like records and the vibes, but this is NOT a good record player even for people just getting into it. It might be more pricey, but just go with a nicer model. It’s way more worth it. I will be sticking with my old but reliable audio technica. ... show more
