Let me start by saying I am new to records, so I am not an expert by any means. I took some time trying to find a good fit for me. I live in a small space, so the sound is loud enough for me. I ended up buying a record platter (not sure of the correct terminology) to help with the sound because I had read about the sound not being clear or the needle needing some weight on it. Anyway, the platter does help. It looks nice and I like that I can take it to my grandmas house to listen to some records from her days. If you’re looking for something simple and don’t need the sound to be heard from a mile away, this is a great buy. It helps to have the platter thing for a more crisp sound. This is record player is remenisent of childhood toy from the 60's, but with modern sound technology. Unit is well made and seems durable. Sound quality is good considering the smallish speakers but not exceptional. Note that it must be plugged in; it is not battery powered. Comes with an extra stylis which is a nice touch. Because of the delicate stylis, it would not be suitable for small children. 4-star only because sound quality is as expected for small speakers, and while very portable, it is not cordless. ... show more

I love this little record player. It is exactly what I was looking for. Being able to lock the arm, close the case, and put the whole thing on a shelf out of the way is amazing. The bluetooth function is incredibly easy to use (It auto-connects to any available device.), and the sound via bluetooth is fantastic. I got a set of speakers (MZEIBO 723269891225) just for it and it can easily keep up with loud volume. I rarely have any issues with skipping (minus a really chewed up album). For the price , you are getting quality built in stereo sound" great in a living room or bedroom. Great improvement on sound with Blue Tooth and my Harmon Kardon Speaker.
