My father always had a record player. I remember we would gather and listen to his songs, and it made for a great time. I've known for some time that record players had made a comeback, so I decided to partake in the festivities. It's been a decent one overall, but I've learned with this record player that you get what you pay for. The packaging was great, so no damage to the contents when it arrived. It took me a while to unbox it, but it was a great experience, overall. Unfortunately, the spinning portion where the records are placed is not CLOSE to being level, which means that my records are on an emotional up-and-down journey when they circle back around. The worst part is that certain songs on the records skip. ALL OF THEM! ... well, I only have two! LOL! XD But they're brand new records... one I sent back and purchased another... still skips. I'm not interested in purchasing a higher quality needle, but I did purchase a weight to see if it'll help. I'll try it out at another time. One should've been included, in my opinion. The cost is really smart for a beginner. I love the suitcase-style design, man. Super modern. I've not tried the Bluetooth function yet; I just sit and let the records play when I'm in the mood. The sound quality isn't the greatest, but hey, the speakers are super tiny and not built for that. I'm sure I could hook it up to my mixer and get a much better sound quality, if only the records (brand-new records, if I didn't mention it before) didn't skip... sigh =( Nostalgic satisfaction met vs poor build quality... 3 out of 5 stars. I've learned a lot more than I thought I would with this record player. Man, they've got so many different color options and things... I guess it's a good product, or even a gift, for someone that doesn't own a lot of records or know what they're doing. You speak to a true enthusiast about this product, they'd walk away from you unless you put in more effort into getting a much better one (which I'm sure is available). I hope this helps you in making your purchase. I believe that a customer always deserves to be satisfied, and in this case, I'm just alright. It's tough out here for a lot of people, man. That said, subpar products are unacceptable. The seller has no idea how their patrons have come to earn the funds they're now using to support their company, but hey, wishful thinking. I was drawn to this thing because it's adorable. I mean, come on - turquoise and chrome? So cute. Overall I am very happy with this record player, but only rated three stars because you definitely get what you pay for. First, the pros. Like I said, it's adorable. Having multiple color options makes it versatile for whatever color you prefer or goes with your room if you're into that kind of thing. It's small and compact, when closed up it's teensy and super portable. For audio outputs it has RCA jacks on the back and a 3.5" audio jack on the turntable. For input there's a 3.5" line in jack on the turntable, and it is Bluetooth capable. It's easy to use, it's fun, and its compact size makes it easy to set up wherever you want it. Now the cons, and while there seem like a lot more than pros, at this price point it's not unexpected and not enough of a detractor for me to return the unit. The built in speakers are, for lack of a better word, meh. They have a retro charm, for sure, but are pretty tinny. They make the fact that the Bluetooth capability of this player only works for receiving input pretty much useless - I wanted to connect my wireless headphones and thought the Bluetooth feature would allow me to do that, but it doesn't. I can't think of why someone would want to stream their music to these speakers seeing as very decent, inexpensive Bluetooth speakers are so abundant. I ended up purchasing a separate transmitting adapter to use my headphones which works great. The arm is very light, so light that skipping is frequent. I use a clay poker chip to weigh it down and it solves the problem but I do wish it had some tension to hold it down a bit better. The lifter doesn't have any guide for aligning it with the start of a record - it seems pretty standard to me that if it plays 33, 45, and 78 rpm albums that the arm lifter should have guides to keep you from lowering it off the edge of the record. There's a switch to turn the turntable off at the end of an album, but the arm does not have an automatic lifter so it just sits there until you manually pick it up again. It would be nice to leave an album on repeat rather than needing to reset it every 20 minutes. The finishing is a bit more sloppy than I would expect. It's not portrayed this way in the promotional images but the turquoise wrap around the case of my player is simply notched and folded over without any finishing to the raw edges, not even paint. This doesn't affect the function of the player but for the design appeal of the unit I was expecting this to look more tight. Overall: it's a great little unit, fun to play around with and the perfect low-cost entry (or re-entry, in my case) point to get into vinyl. Just don't expect it to be amazing.

I bought it for my grand daughter’s birthday so I don’t know too much about it we opened the box and set it up and played the record -she loved it -didn’t try the Bluetooth feature when I was there -she can do that later

Beautiful player. Only flaw is the material coming apart in the creases. Not sure if want to keep it that way or send back. Still debating.
